SSC Recruitment 2019: The Staff Selection Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff. The eligible and interested candidates are requested to apply for the positions. The SSC had released the online application form on April 22 2019 and the last date for submission is May 29 2019. The selected candidate will be enrolled in various Ministries, departments, offices of the Government of India, in different states or union territories. The candidates are advised to visit the official website to fill the recruitment forms.
Important Dates:
- The commencement of submission of online form: April 22 2019
- Last date for submission of online forms: May 29 2019
- Last date for receipt of application: May 29 2019
- Last date for making online fee payment: May 31 2019
- Last date for generation of offline challan: May 31 2019
- Last date of payment through challan: June 6 2019
- Date for Computer based Examination: August 2 2019 to September 6 2019
- Date for Descriptive Paper: November 17 2019
Vacancies:
Vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies will be uploaded on the website of the Commission. The candidate are hence advised to keep a track of the same by visiting the official website time and again.
Pay-scale:
The pay scale is expected to be between Rs 5,200-20,200, with additional grade pay of Rs 1,800 (as per 7th CPC)
Eligibility:
i)The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
ii) The individual should be a citizen of India/Subject of Nepal/ Subject of Bhutan/ a Tibetan refugee/ a person of Indian origin residing in Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit:
For most of the positions, the minimum age is 18 years while the maximum age is 25 years. The limit relaxation on age for certain categories are:
i)SC/ST candidates: 5 years
ii) OBC candidates: 3 years
iii) Persons with disability: 10 years (PWD+OBC= 13 years; PWD+SC/ST= 15 years)
vi) Ex-servicemen with at least five years of service : 5 years
The applicants are supposed to apply for the positions by filling the application online. No other mode of submission of application will be accepted. The candidates belonging to general and OBC category have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. The other SC/St or female candidates do not need to pay any fee. The candidates are supposed to upload their recent photograph and signature in the form. Selected candidates will then undergo the selection process with the Computer based tests and descriptive tests
