Making most of the festive season, the largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) took one step ahead with its SBI Yono card, by launching a new feature card under the brand and dubbed it the YONO Shopping Festival. YONO app is SBI's  first comprehensive digital service platform YONO (acronym for ‘You Only Need One’) app. A sale will be begin from October 16 (which is tomorrow) up till October 21, 2018, giving massive discounts to customers.  SBI has now become the first ever bank to launch a shopping festival in India. 

This is also an interesting move by SBI, as recently e-commerce giants player like Amazon and Flipkart has swayed Indian citizens with massive discounts under their 'Great Indian sale' and 'Big Billion Days sale'. The Flipkart sale is already over, and today would be last day for Amazon's sale. Opening a new sale right after these two e-commerce giants, comes as a good news for SBI.
