NGK Box Office Collection Day 2: Double bonanza! Suriya film records another Rs 1 crore-day in Chennai!

NGK Box Office Collection Day 2: Suriya, Rakul Preet starrer NGK collected another Rs 1 crore in Chennai City on Saturday. According to industry tracker Ramesh Bala, NGK had another Rs 1 crore-day in Chennai on the day-2 of its release (Saturday). The film's 2-day gross collection Chennai is Rs 2.10 crore. Bala also said in a tweet today that NGK has crossed the Rs 100K-mark in the US. "#NGK crosses $100K in the #USA $117,000 as of 7 PM PST on Saturday," Bala tweeted. 

Tamil star Suriya's film NGK had opened to mixed response on Friday.

On Day 1 in Chennai, NGK collected Rs 1.03 crore. This is the first Suriya film which has reportedly got Rs 1 crore+ opening in Chennai. On the USA Box Office, the Suriya starrer collected $84,000 on opening day, according to Bala. 

NGK has become the third biggest opener of 2019 at the Chennai box office. The other two films are Avengers: Endgame and Rajinikanth's Petta. 

NGK stars Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet in key roles. The film revolves around a person Nandha Gopalan Kumaran (NGK) who wants to do good for the society by becoming a politician.
