Private carrier Indigo has launched a full-fledged Hindi website on Monday. With this, India's largest airline company by passengers and fleet size becomes the first airline to launch a completely Hindi language based website.
The company intends to increase its reach and overall customer base with the launch of the website. In its bid to enhance connections, IndiGo, India’s leading airline, launched its Hindi website today. Through the launch of its Hindi Website, Indigo took another step towards enhancing its regional connect by offering the customer’s language of choice as an interface to share information on its products and services.
The Hindi website of the low-cost airline will help customers who are comfortable with only Hindi language to access the website. This will also enable the customers to efficiently fetch and use the information on the website related to flight information, bookings, new offers, announcements, etc.
With the penetration of the internet and smartphones becoming commonplace, the demand for regional languages is gaining ground. According to the industry data, India had over 637 million internet users as of March 2019, with Hindi content consumption witnessing a growth of 94% in 2018-19 (April-March).
