IIAP Bangalore recruitment 2019: Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIAP) has issued a recruitment notification inviting application for the post of Research Trainee. The candidates may attend the walk-in-interview on May 21, 2019. The applicants must go through the official notification before appearing for the interview. They must make sure that they have all the requisite educational qualifications and experience for the job. The candidates who do not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria should not attend the interview, as their candidature will be cancelled automatically.

Research Trainee: 1 post

Educational qualification: 
The candidates should hold a B. Tech (Applied Optics/Optoelectronics) or M.Sc (Physics/ Applied Optics) with an at least 55 percent marks from any recognised university/institution.

Salary:
The selected candidates will be recruited in the Pay Scale of Rs 20,000  per month.

Age limit:
The candidates should not be more than 26 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST and OBC candidates and also to differently-abled candidates in accordance with the government rules.

Job location: 
The selected candidates will be deployed in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Interview Venue:
The candidates have to attend the interview on IIAP Bangalore, 2nd Block, Koramangala, Bangalore. The interview will be held between 9 am and 5 pm.
The appointment is purely temporary on contract basis and does not entitle any privileges or benefits of regular employment.  The candidate will be appointed for the period of one year and extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and requirement of the institute.
