Passengers of Indian Railways face great difficulty especially during winter season. Most of the time trains are delayed and even trains are cancelled, because of the fog which creates confusion and carries risk of accidents as drivers face difficulties to see the signals during the winter season because of the fog.

To prevent this issue Northen Railway is ready with its the Fog safety devices so that the problems which are faced by the drivers regarding the signals get solved.

The fog-safety device is placed in the driver's cabin. It alerts the driver of the approaching signal on the track in the fog during winter. The foggy weather affects the visibility of signals which creates confusion among drivers

Northen Railways came up with more 2,500 number of Fog safe devices to prevent this major issue.

Railway Minister Piyush Goel tweeted "Indian railway was facing a serious problem of Fog and now it is also set to solve this problem, northern railway came up with 2500 Fog safe devices which will help to avoid signal related problem."
