Elon Musk India tour itinerary, Tesla Model 3 launch, PM Narendra Modi meeting: Tesla CEO Elon Musk had recently shared on X that he will be visiting India soon, and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tour, fuelling rumours that the maverick millionaire will announce setting up of Tesla factories and showrooms, and launch Tesla electric vehicles in India.

1) Elon Musk is likely to reach India on Sunday, April 21.

2) Tesla CEO will be meeting with PM Modi on Monday afternoon, April 22.

3) There is also a possibility that the founder, chairman, CEO, and CTO of SpaceX will meet with Indian IT and space startups.
 
4) As far as the location of his meeting with startups is concerned, sources say that the meet will likely be held at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

5) People in the know have said that Musk could present before PM Modi a roadmap for his investments in India.

6) Elon Musk's plans for India could constitute investments worth $3000 crore.

7) Apart from the entry of Tesla electric vehicles in India, discussions could also be held regarding investments in component and battery manufacturing.

8) As per sources, Musk could announce the outline for the launch of satellite-based services in India.

9) The Department of Telecom had recently approved changes in the satellite internet policy and industry experts see this in relation to Musk's India visit.

10) There could be announcements regarding steps to make X (Twitter), and social media in general, safer, responsible and suitable for social issues and to put a stop on Deep Fake videos and content.

11) Sources say that talks are in advanced stage for setting up Tesla showrooms in Delhi and Karnataka. 

12) Sources say that Tesla is prepared to enter the Indian market with Tesla Model 3 sedan, as the government had recently issued a new policy regarding EVs.
