CIBA recruitment 2019: New vacancies announced; check how to apply

CIBA recruitment 2019: Indian Council of Agricultural Research's Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture has posted a notification of recruitment for the positions of Young Professional and Technical Assistant posts The number of vacancies available are two in total, one seat for each department, under the CIBA-CPCL funded project No 519. The interested candidates are requested to apply for the positions before the last date of May 10 2019.

Educational Qualification

Young Professional-II:

• M.Sc Social Sciences / Agriculture / Fisheries Extension/ Home Science /Home Science Extension/ Women Studies/ Life Sciences /Aquaculture
• Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field investigations and proficiency in computers and statistical analyses are desirable

Technical Assistant :

• Graduate in Science or Social studies or / Agriculture / Fisheries Extension/ Home Science / Home –Extension/ Life Sciences/ Aquaculture OR 10 + 2 equivalent)
• Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field investigations and proficiency in computers and statistical analyses are desirable

The candidates who have knowledge in fish farming / aquaculture and field work are welcome.

Age Limit

The candidates applying for the position of editor for any language preference should be below the age of 35 years and 40 years for women candidates. The limit relaxation on age for certain categories are:

i)SC/ST candidates: 5 years

ii) OBC candidates: 3 years

iii) Persons with disability: 10 years (PWD+OBC= 13 years; PWD+SC/ST= 15 years)
