Anil Singhvi’s Strategy January 28: Market to be Negative; Mindtree and DHFL are Stocks of the Day
Sensex and Nifty on Friday, January 25, 2019, ended with modest losses. In a volatile trade, both indices lost around 0.5% amid positive global cues. The S&P BSE Sensex fell 1769.56 points, or 0.47%, to end at 36,025.54.

The Nifty 50 at National Stock Exchange ended down 69.25 points, or 0.64%, to settle at 10,780.55 while Nifty Bank went down 151.10 points, or 0.55%, to close the day at 27,115.30.
Amid positive global market and foreign institutional investors (FII), neutral domestic institutional investors (DIIs) and futures & Options (F&O) and negative sentiment cues, the short-term trend of Indian market will be negative today, January 28, 2019.

10,800 and 27,250 are going to be the deciding levels on Nifty and Bank Nifty.
The small and medium trading range on Nifty lies between 10,750-10,800 and 10,700-10,900 respectively. The extreme range lies at 10,650-10,925.
In the case of Bank Nifty, the small and extreme trading ranges lie between 27,050-27,250 and 27,000-27,300 respectively. The extreme range stands at 26,800-27,400.
Next important support level on the two indices, Nifty and Bank Nifty, stands at 10,700 and 27,000.
Traders are advised to reduce short positions if Nifty and Bank Nifty closes below the mark of 10,850 and 27,250.
Buying and Selling Strategy on Nifty
Sell Nifty in 10800-10850 range with a stop loss of 10,925 and target 10,750.
Buy Nifty in 10,700-10,725 range with a stop loss of 10,650 and target 10,800.

Buying and Selling Strategy on Bank Nifty
Sell Bank Nifty in 27,300-27,400 range with a stop loss of 27,500 and target 27,250, 27,150, 27,050.
Buy Bank Nifty in 26,800-26,900 range with a stop loss of 26 750 and target 27,000, 27,050, 27,150.
The put-call ratio (PCR) stands at 1.37 and the volatility index (VIX) is 17.69.
