Actress Khushbu Sundar accident: Huge tanker crashes into car on way to BJP meet, says 'Lord Murugan has saved us' - check horrific photos

Actress Khushbu Sundar accident: The actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader met with a horrific accident today while she was on way to attend a political event - Vel Yatra. Khushbu was accompanied in the car by her niece Raja Priya. Images show the damage done to the car and it was truly horrific. The car was damaged very badly and a few feet here or there and it could have led to a major tragedy.

That a far bigger tragedy was avoided was all down to fate as a massive tanker had crashed into Khushbu Sundar's car near Melmaruvathur in Tamil Nadu.

The police has launched its investigations and is checking all angles including whether the driver was intoxicated or if it was a deliberate act.
Not deterred at all by the massive accident, Khushbu continued on her trip to Cuddalore. In fact, Khushbu was seen sitting staunchly in the damaged car.

Khushbu even took to Twitter and tweeted a message as well as photos of the mangled car. She said, “With your blessings and God’s grace, I am safe. Will continue my journey towards Cuddalore to participate in VelYaatrai. Police are investigating the case. LordMurugan has saved us. My husband’s trust in him is seen.”

She added, "Request the press to understand that a container rammed into me and not the other way. My car was on the move in the right lane and this container came from nowhere and rammed into me. Police are investigating n questioning the driver to rule out any foul play.”

Notably, Khushbu Sundar was on way to attend a yatra that has been banned by the Tamil Nadu government. The yatra is to further cement BJP  presence in the state where it has historically been absent.
