Indian IT services giant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) failed to bag the crown but did turn third most valuable IT services company in the world in 2018-19. The first in the list is Accenture followed by IBM, according to a report by Brand Finance. Other Indian brands that made it into the squad of top 10 most valued IT firms were Infosys, HCL and Wipro.

Third, in the list, TCS has performed very well in digital services globally and the company's valuation reflects that achievement - it has surged by 23% to $12.8 billion in 2018-19, the report added. TCS also becomes the first Indian IT services company to report success in the Japanese market, positioning itself as a global leader delivering a world-class customer experience and using artificial intelligence and robotic automation for its transformation programmes. Wipro also managed to grab a spot in the top-10 list for the first time this year, added the report, released at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. It has shown a remarkable jump of 25% in valuation to cross $4 billion this year. Wipro's strategic investments in digital transformation at the global level, unorthodox acquisitions, and a fresh brand makeover bolstered it to become the third fastest-growing firm in the club.
