WhatsApp has become virtually a universal addiction and its presence, or lack of it, decides the fate of smartphones even before they are launched. And of course, it spells the death knell of smartphones that can no longer support the popular WhatsApp. Now, it seems, WhatsApp is all set to come to 2 phones that grabbed massive amounts of attention recently but failed to actually make an impression on buyers. These are the latest smartphones from Nokia. Now, WhatsApp may well come Nokia’s new feature phones and that too, very soon.
These features phones are Nokia 3310 and 8110, which were popular among people earlier, but did not have WhatsApp, but now they have been refreshed and updated for a new era of users and guess what? WhatsApp is coming to them - most likely. The devices also now sport improved designs and colour displays. These phones are particularly popular because of their massive battery life which is at last 10 to 15 times more than other smartphones. According to Express UK report, these devices may get the popular messaging app soon.
HMD's Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, recently tweeted that WhatsApp is coming to the KaiOS platform. KaiOS recently got a huge boost from Google with the company investing $22million in its development, the report said. Check out HMD Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas tweet here:

New 4G ready Nokia 8810 uses this software. However, there is no official confirmation if the Nokia 3310 will get WhatsApp update and it is mere speculation. However, if these feature phones get updates, they will certainly appeal more.
