Page Industries Q1 Result: Page Industries on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 158.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24), down 23.5 per cent year-on-year (YoY). The company had posted a profit of Rs 207 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,240, down 7.77 per cent against Rs 1,344.5 crore registered in the year-ago period.
The top line was in line with Zee Business estimates, while the bottom line was slightly above the estimates. Zee Business Research had projected a 7 per cent decline in its consolidated revenue at Rs 1,244 crore while PAT (profit after tax) or net profit was pegged at Rs 151 crore, down 27 per cent YoY. The company also announced that its board has declared the first interim dividend 2023-24 of Rs 75 per equity share.
The basic earnings per share (EPS) of the company for the quarter under review stood at Rs 141.98 against Rs 185.62 in the year-ago period. The company's stock was trading around half a per cent lower at Rs 38,800 on the BSE, after the results announcement.
