India Cement's Q2 net profit rises by 62% to Rs 62 crore

Cement manufacturer - India Cements reported net profit of Rs 62.41 crore for the second quarter September 30, 2016, registering growth of 62.10% year-on-year (yoy) and 41.90% quarter-on-quarter (qoq).

Cement manufacturer - India Cements reported net profit of Rs 62.41 crore for the second quarter September 30, 2016, registering growth of 62.10% year-on-year (yoy) and 41.90% quarter-on-quarter (qoq).
It's total income from operations stood at Rs 1314.44 crore, rising by 6.94% yoy and 9.01% qoq.
The company's board at Q2 review meeting also agreed to grant 20,00,000 option under employee stock options (ESOS) 2016.

On Friday, the shares of India cement closed at Rs 116.95 on BSE, up by 4.19%.
