GNFC shares crash on plant shutdown

Shares of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemical touched a new low of Rs 215 per share on Thursday after the company said it has shut down its Dahej plant on account of gas leak.

Shares were trading lower by 15.11% on BSE Sensex at 11.41 am.

The share price of GNFC have tumbled for three-straight days since the start of November 2016.

GNFC sells DAP whose prices have also fallen over the past year.
