Tata Motors dealers offer discount up to Rs 50,000 on Tata Punch EV

Tata Punch EV: Since its launch in January 2024, the Tata Punch Electric Vehicle (EV) is available with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 50,000, offered by dealers. Discounts vary from city to city and are subject to the availability of stock. This offer applies specifically to the top-spec Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC fast charger (FC) variant. 

Punch EV Price Cut: Stock clearance

Insider information from dealer sources reveals a strategic move to clear inventory of the top-spec Empowered +S LR variant. Before the Punch EV's launch on January 17, Tata dealerships across India reportedly received a surplus of units equipped with the faster 7.2kW AC charger (AC FC). To expedite sales of this inventory, dealerships are implementing a combination of discounts, including a flat Rs 20,000 reduction, insurance benefits, and additional dealer discounts. Cumulatively, these incentives amount to savings of up to Rs 50,000, contingent upon unsold inventory levels.

Punch EV Price Cut: Availability and Pricing

The Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC FC variant, which is expected to be the primary beneficiary of these discounts, is currently stocked in nearly every Tata showroom, with approximately five to 10 units available. With the applied discounts, the ex-showroom price of the top-spec model could potentially drop from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. 

Punch EV Price Cut: Features 

The Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC FC variant offers a larger 35kWh battery, offering an ARAI-rated 421km of range. It is equipped with a more powerful 122hp motor and includes premium features such as an electronic parking brake, hill-descent control, a sunroof, ambient lighting, leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver display functions.
