Reactions to Q4FY22 RESULTS&nbsp;&nbsp;

IndiaMART InterMESH: Up 2.59%. The B2B marketplace has reported a 17.9% QoQ decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 57.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 70 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2022. Revenue from operations grew 6.9% QoQ to Rs 201 crore compared to Rs 188 crore posted in December 2021 quarter. EBITDA declined 26.8% QoQ to Rs 57.3 crore compared to Rs 78.3 crore posted in the previous quarter. Margin dropped to 28.5% in Q4FY22 against 41.6% in Q3FY22. Besides, the company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per equity share of the face value of Rs. 10 each for the Financial Year 2021-22. The board also approved the proposal for buyback of up to 1,60,000 fully paid-up equity shares of the Company having a face value of Rs 10 through the tender offer route at Rs 6,250 per share (at a premium of 27.6% at the current market price of Rs 4,900 per share), payable in cash, for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 100 crores. The resultant Equity Shares to be bought back at the Buyback Offer Price are 1,60,000 Equity Shares, representing 0.52% of the total Equity Shares in the total paid-up equity share capital of the Company. The record date for the purpose has been fixed on May 11, 2022.

Shriram Transport Finance: Up 6.71%. The NBFC has reported a 43.9% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 1,086.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 754.9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Net interest income, grew 19.3% YoY to Rs 2,524.4 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 2,115.4 crore posted last year. The company's GNPA dropped to 7.07% in March 2022 quarter from 8.4% posted in December 2021 quarter while the NNPA fell to 3.67% in the reported quarter against 4.36% posted in the previous quarter. The net interest margin of the company grew to 6.96% in Q4FY22 from 6.65% posted in Q3FY22. Its assets under management (AUM) grew 8.36% YoY. The company in a statement said, a meeting of the Banking and Finance Committee, Debt Issuance Committee and Allotment Committee will be held on May 31, 2022, to Decide the issue price of debt securities/ bonds by which fundraising is to be done.

Axis Bank: Down 4.46%. The private sector lender on Thursday reported a 53.8% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 4,117.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 2,677.1 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. The net interest income, the difference between interest earned and interest expended, grew 16.7% YoY to Rs 8,819.1 crore compared to Rs 7,555 crore posted last year. The net interest margin (NIM) for the quarter came in at 3.49% Q4FY22 against 3.4% posted in Q3FY22. The lender has shown better improvement in terms of asset quality as its gross non-performing assets (NPA) reduced to 2.81% in Q4FY22 against 3.17% posted in the December 2021 quarter. Similarly, the Net NPA dropped to 0.73% against 0.91% posted in Q3FY22. The bank's deposit grew 19% YoY while its advances (loans) grew 15% YoY, with retail loans growth at 21% YoY and SME loans at 26% YoY. Axis Bank said advances at Rs 7.07 lakh crore as of March 2022 grew 15% YoY, with retail loans (which accounted for 57% of net advances) growing at 21% YoY and the growth in the corporate loan book was just 4% compared to the corresponding period last fiscal. The bank's free income grew 11% YoY. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Re 1 per share.

Mphasis: Up 1.96%. The IT firm has reported a 9.5% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 392 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 358 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 4.9% QoQ to Rs 3,278 crore compared to Rs 3,124 crore posted in the previous quarter. In dollar terms, the company's revenue grew 4.1% QoQ to $43.1 crore compared to $41.43 crore posted in the previous quarter. EBIT grew 5.8% QoQ to Rs 498 crore compared to Rs 470.5 crore posted in the previous quarter. Its margin remained almost flat and stood at 15.2% in Q4FY22 against 15.1% posted in Q3FY22. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 46 per share. In a statement, the company has said that it will continue to stay optimistic about the current demand environment, while we are keeping an eye on macro and geopolitical headwinds.

Huhtamaki India Ltd: Up 5.19%. The packaging machinery manufacturing company has reported a 51.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 24.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 16.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 15.2% YoY to Rs 728.5 crore compared to Rs 632.3 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 19.9% YoY to Rs 50.7 crore compared to Rs 42.3 crore posted last year. Margin stood at 7% in Q4FY22 from 6.7% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the company's board gave their in-principle approval for monetizing the Company's leasehold land and building situated at Chikhloli MIDC, Ambernath, Maharashtra.

Indo Rama Synthetics: Up 5.37%. The company has reported a 16.8% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 107.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 128.7 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 51% to Rs 1,251.7 crore compared to Rs 828.4 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 28.7% YoY to Rs 130 crore compared to Rs 101.1 crore posted last year. Margin declined to 10.4% in Q4FY22 from 12.2% posted in Q4FY21.

Ambuja Cements: Down 1%. The cement maker has reported a 25.5% YoY decline in the standalone profit at Rs 495.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 664.6 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 8.4% YoY to Rs 3,925.2 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 3,621 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 19.1% YoY to Rs 790.4 crore compared to Rs 976.8 crore posted last year. Margin dropped to 20.1% in Q4FY22 against 27% posted in Q4FY21. EBITDA/ton declined 22% YoY to Rs 1,053 against Rs 1,350. Realisation/Ton grew 5.9% YoY to Rs 5233.6 compared to Rs 4943. Volume(Mn ton) grew 3.6% marginally to 7.5 against 7.24. The board has approved the appointment of Mr Arun Kumar Anand as Non-Executive Non-Independent Nominee Director representing LIC. It also appointed Mr Mario Gross as Non-Executive Non-Independent Nominee Director representing Holcim.

Biocon: Down 1.38%. The biopharmaceutical company has reported a 4.2% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 283.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 296.4 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 30.8% YoY to Rs 2,408.8 crore compared to Rs 1,842.1 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 35.9% YoY to Rs 591.9 crore compared to Rs 435.7 crore posted last year. Its margin grew to 24.6% in Q4FY22 compared to Rs 23.7% posted in Q4FY21.

Fineotex Chemical Ltd: Down 4.57%. The chemical company has reported a 47.3% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 16.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 11.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 61.9% YoY to Rs 121.4 crore compared to Rs 75 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 66.7% YoY to Rs 21.5 crore compared to Rs 12.9 crore posted last year. The margin grew marginally to 17.7% in Q4FY22 from 17.2% posted in Q4FY21. The board has declared a dividend of 0.40 paise per share.

IIFL Finance Ltd: Down 2.06%. The financial services company has reported a 29.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profits at Rs 320.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 247.6 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 16.1% YoY to RTs 1,856.2 crore from Rs 1,598.5 crore posted last year. Net interest income grew 10.2% YoY to Rs 868.2 crore compared to Rs 788.2 crore posted last year.

PNB Housing Finance: Down 1.16%. The housing finance company has reported a 33.5% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 169.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 127 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations fell 22.2% to Rs 1,425.4 crore compared to Rs 1,831.7 crore posted last year. Net interest income fell 28.8% YoY to Rs 369.3 crore compared to Rs 518.8 crore posted last year.

Shoppers Stop Ltd: Down 6.79%. Department store company has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 15.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to a loss of Rs 24.1 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 4.8% YoY to Rs 713.3 crore compared to Rs 680.5 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 19.7% YoY to Rs 76.2 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 680.5 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 10.7% in Q4FY22 from 14% posted in Q4FY21. The company in a statement said that we believe that the robustness in the consumer demand has offset rising costs, driving the margins higher. We expect to grow in line with the retail industry at a double-digit pace, this fiscal.

Shriram Transport Finance: The NBFC has reported a 43.9% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 1,086.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 754.9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Net interest income, grew 19.3% YoY to Rs 2,524.4 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 2,115.4 crore posted last year. The company's GNPA dropped to 7.07% in March 2022 quarter from 8.4% posted in December 2021 quarter while the NNPA fell to 3.67% in the reported quarter against 4.36% posted in the previous quarter. The net interest margin of the company grew to 6.96% in Q4FY22 from 6.65% posted in Q3FY22. Its assets under management (AUM) grew 8.36% YoY. The company in a statement said, a meeting of the Banking and Finance Committee, Debt Issuance Committee and Allotment Committee will be held on May 31, 2022, to Decide the issue price of debt securities/ bonds by which fundraising is to be done.&nbsp;

Biocon: The biopharmaceutical company has reported a 4.2% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 283.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 296.4 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 30.8% YoY to Rs 2,408.8 crore compared to Rs 1,842.1 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 35.9% YoY to Rs 591.9 crore compared to Rs 435.7 crore posted last year. Its margin grew to 24.6% in Q4FY22 compared to Rs 23.7% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Vedanta: The mining giant has reported a 10% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 5,799 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 6,432 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 41% YoY to Rs 39,882 crore compared to Rs 28,206 crore posted in a year-ago quarter. EBITDA grew 51% YoY to Rs 13,633 crore from Rs 9,037 crore posted last year. Mphasis: The IT firm has reported a 9.5% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 392 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 358 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 4.9% QoQ to Rs 3,278 crore compared to Rs 3,124 crore posted in the previous quarter. In dollar terms, the company's revenue grew 4.1% QoQ to $43.1 crore compared to $41.43 crore posted in the previous quarter. EBIT grew 5.8% QoQ to Rs 498 crore compared to Rs 470.5 crore posted in the previous quarter. Its margin remained almost flat and stood at 15.2% in Q4FY22 against 15.1% posted in Q3FY22. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 46 per share. In a statement, the company has said that it will continue to stay optimistic about the current demand environment, while we are keeping an eye on macro and geopolitical headwinds.&nbsp;

Fineotex Chemical Ltd: The chemical company has reported a 47.3% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 16.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 11.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 61.9% YoY to Rs 121.4 crore compared to Rs 75 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 66.7% YoY to Rs 21.5 crore compared to Rs 12.9 crore posted last year. The margin grew marginally to 17.7% in Q4FY22 from 17.2% posted in Q4FY21. The board has declared a dividend of 0.40 paise per share.&nbsp;

Huhtamaki India Ltd: The packaging machinery manufacturing company has reported a 51.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 24.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 16.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 15.2% YoY to Rs 728.5 crore compared to Rs 632.3 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 19.9% YoY to Rs 50.7 crore compared to Rs 42.3 crore posted last year. Margin stood at 7% in Q4FY22 from 6.7% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the company's board gave their in-principle approval for monetizing the Company's leasehold land and building situated at Chikhloli MIDC, Ambernath, Maharashtra.

IIFL Finance Ltd: The financial services company has reported a 29.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profits at Rs 320.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 247.6 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 16.1% YoY to RTs 1,856.2 crore from Rs 1,598.5 crore posted last year. Net interest income grew 10.2% YoY to Rs 868.2 crore compared to Rs 788.2 crore posted last year.&nbsp;

PNB Housing Finance: The housing finance company has reported a 33.5% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 169.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 127 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations fell 22.2% to Rs 1,425.4 crore compared to Rs 1,831.7 crore posted last year. Net interest income fell 28.8% YoY to Rs 369.3 crore compared to Rs 518.8 crore posted last year.&nbsp;

Shoppers Stop Ltd: Department store company has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 15.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to a loss of Rs 24.1 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 4.8% YoY to Rs 713.3 crore compared to Rs 680.5 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 19.7% YoY to Rs 76.2 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 680.5 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 10.7% in Q4FY22 from 14% posted in Q4FY21. The company in a statement said that we believe that the robustness in the consumer demand has offset rising costs, driving the margins higher. We expect to grow in line with the retail industry at a double-digit pace, this fiscal.

Indo Rama Synthetics: The company has reported a 16.8% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 107.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 128.7 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 51% to Rs 1,251.7 crore compared to Rs 828.4 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 28.7% YoY to Rs 130 crore compared to Rs 101.1 crore posted last year. TVS Motors / Hero Moto / Bajaj Auto: The government has turned strict on EV two-wheelers manufacturers and has announced a ban on the launch of new EV two-wheelers, however, they are allowed to sell the existing models.&nbsp;

TATA Motors:&nbsp;A Reuters reported that Tata Motors’ has ambitious EV plans for the current fiscal. The auto manufacturer has a production target of 80,000 units for the current fiscal. This is vastly magnified from the 19,000 units sold in the fiscal just concluded.

Varun Beverages: Up 4.33%. The FMCG company today reported a 96.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 254 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 129 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 26.1% YoY to Rs 2,827 crore compared to Rs 2,241 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 38.7% YoY to Rs 530 crore compared to Rs 382 crore posted last year. The margin grew to 18.7% in Q4FY22 against 17% posted in Q4FY21. 
HUL: Up 3.90%. The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company on Wednesday reported an 8.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 2,327 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 2,143 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 11% YoY to Rs 13,462 crore compared to Rs 12,132 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 9.7% YoY to Rs 3,245 crore compared to Rs 2,957 crore posted in March 2021 quarter. The Margins stood at 24.2% in Q4FY22 compared to 24.4% posted in Q4FY21.. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 19 per share. 
Bajaj Auto: Down 1.43%. The Pune-based two-wheeler manufacturer has reported a 10.3% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 1,469 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 1,332 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell 7.2% to Rs 7,974.8 crore compared to Rs 8,596 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 10.4% YoY to Rs 1,365.6 crore compared to Rs 1,524 crore posted last year. The margin dropped to 17.1% in Q4FY22 compared to 17.7% posted in Q4FY22. The company has reported an exceptional gain of Rs 315 crore. 
Persistent Systems: Up 3.63%. The technology services company Persistent Services has reported a 14.2% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 201 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 176 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2021. Revenue from operations grew 9.9% QoQ to Rs 1,638 crore compared to Rs 1,491 crore posted in the previous quarter. In dollar terms, the revenue grew 9.1% to $21.73 crore compared to Rs 19.91 crore posted in December 2021 quarter. EBIT rose by 10.8% QoQ to Rs 230 crore compared to Rs 207.5 crore posted in the previous quarter. The margin stood at 14% in Q4FY22 against 13.9% posted in Q3FY22. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 11 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2022. The attrition rate stood at 26.6% vs 26.9% (QoQ). 
Indian Hotels: Up 4.31%. Tata Group hospitality firm Indian Hotels had reported a consolidated profit of Rs 74.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to a consolidated loss of Rs 91.3 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 41.8% YoY to Rs 872.1 crore compared to Rs 615 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 124% to Rs 159 crore compared to Rs 71 crore posted last year. Margins improved to 18.2% in Q4FY22 compared to 11.5% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 0.40 per share. 
IEX: Down 2.65%. The Indian electronic system based power trading exchange has reported a 43.7% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 88.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 61.5 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operation grew 19.5% to Rs 112.1 crore compared to Rs 93.8 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 22.5% to Rs 94.9 crore against Rs 77.5 crore posted last year. Margins improved to 84.7% in Q4FY22 compared to 82.6% posted in Q4FY21. The company said that the share of profit of associates stood at Rs 1.44 crore and its exceptional gain stood at Rs 6 crore. The petroleum refineries company has reported a 4.3 times QoQ rise in the standalone profit at Rs 994.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 228.8 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2022. revenue from operations grew 68.2% QoQ to Rs 16,713.6 crore compared to Rs 9,939.3 crore posted in the previous quarter. MRPL, Varun Beverages to Chennai Petroleum Corporation - here are the top Buzzing Stocks today 

Vibha Padalkar, MD &amp; CEO, HDFC Life, talks about the fourth-quarter results, segmental performance, VNB margins, fundraising plans, acquisition of Exide Life, product pipeline and women Financial Consultant model among others during an exclusive interview with Swati Khandelwal, Zee Business.&nbsp;Edited Excerpts:

Q: How will you summarize Q4FY22 as profit and net premium income was a bit less than our estimates but the numbers are looking positive and healthy?

A: We are really happy with this quarter because the first two quarters passed off in the pandemic and that was resulting in a lot of COVID claims, which were quite elevated not just for HDFC Life but for the overall sector. But that is behind us now. The reserves that we established for the COVID were enough and we are very happy and relieved that it was enough for us. At the same time, we are also able to carry forward Rs 55 crore of reserves which was not utilised. In case, if something or other happens because of COVID then that is also back in the pocket. Also, if you will have a look at our new business on a two-year CAGR basis - because there was a base impact due to the COVID - it has been in the range of 20-22% depending on which number you see. Persistency was also fairly healthy and continues to hold up very well at around 87% on a 13-month persistency. If you will have a look at the product mix then that was also very much in line with our stated product mix. Similarly, each of our channels including the propriety channel and agency channel also did very well. Credit life also grew very well at about 26%. So, if seen from an overall perspective, it was a satisfying quarter.

Q: Can you please give us a sense of performance in different segments like WRP, bancassurance, Protection etc?

A: If you will look at the WRP, it was in a range of about 6% which looks a little bit low but if you will have a look at a two-year CAGR then that was about 22%. It is important because, in Q4FY22, we grew about 40%. So there was a base effect and if you make the base effect even then that grew by 22%, so that was fairly healthy. If you will have a look at our ranking amongst the top three including LIC, we continue to hold our ranking. It is an important aspect because if I drop my ranking and showed higher new business margins, which is not a big thing, to hold on to your market share and ranking as well as show the growth that becomes a lot difficult and we have been able to do so in this quarter. Even in terms of our assets under management (AUM), in this quarter, where we had a milestone as we crossed 2 lakhs.

Q: You have talked about VNB (value of the new business) margins having grown to 29.3%. Going forward, what is your future outlook for it and do you think that it can be maintained?

A:&nbsp;If you will have a look at the full-year basis then we have seen expansion in the margin from 26.1% to 27.4%. You will see an expansion in the margin in the medium term. It can drift in a quarter or two, as the fourth quarter tends to be good because there is a seasonality in the business. But in the medium term, let's say in the next four years, we should inch up closer to 30%.

Q: Now that COVID cases are fewer. However, a new wave is coming up. How much cautious you are monitoring it?

A: We are monitoring it closely. To date, given that we are close to a month in the new year, it doesn't seem that the elevated levels of COVID claims are panning out. But we will continue to be cautious and because of this, we have not reversed the access reserves of Rs 55 crore. But hopefully, it will be closer to Omicron. Unfortunately, we get into one more wave, hopefully, it will be closer to Omicron than the Delta variant. If it is the same then there can be infections but the COVID claims will not pan out as they did in the Delta variant. At the same time, I would like to mention a point here, it has been four years since our IPO in FY18, and in these four years, we have consistently at least doubled every metric. For instance, new business, renewal premium, embedded value, the value of the new business, assets under management, and every metric we have doubled in these four years.

Q: Has the company taken any price hike in the premium or will be taking days to come especially in term insurance? Are you seeing any pressure from reinsurance companies for price hikes?

A:&nbsp;When we closed the third quarter, we said that we have taken a 15-25% price hike and after that, we are not contemplating any of the price hikes in the foreseeable future, as of now.

Q: What about fundraising and for what these funds will be used?

A: Currently, our solvency stands at 176%. We have also announced the acquisition of Exide Life and that has a cash component in terms of pay-out. Mostly, the deal is in terms of share swap/share issue but there is a cash component of Rs 726 crore, which resulted in an expected fall in the solvency of 12%, therefore, we are raising sub-debt and we have got board approval to raise about Rs 350 crore of sub-debt.

Q: What is the timeline for the completion of the Exide Life merger? Also, update us about your product pipeline?

A:&nbsp;We are very happy that the process of going well in terms of we have got the CCI approval. A week back we got the approval from the exchanges, so, we have applied in the NCLT. Hopefully, in the quarter's time, they should be through and we will be able to merge the entities. When it will happen, we will be truly able to integrate both teams into one and will be able to grow their business. The reason for the acquisition of the company will start panning out in terms of better penetration into Tier-II and Tier-III cities offering HDFC Life's products to Exide Life customers. All these activities will take place once we get the final NCLT approval.

Q: What is your product pipeline?

A: It is very robust and we have interesting products we have launched Sanchay Fixed Maturity Plan and it is doing very well and we have collected around Rs 1,000 crore. Retirement products and systematic retirement plan is also doing well it is a regular pay deferred annuity product. We also have one to two other products in the pipeline, which hopefully we will get approval soon.

Q: In Your press release your company has said that “we are focusing on building a women Financial Consultant model which we believe would give us higher activation, retention and productivity”. Can you elaborate on this?

A: We are finding more and more educated women but are sitting at home for various reasons. They want to operate out of home, largely, they also come to the office at times but largely from home. So, they have friends, family and social media circles where they can sell. We can train them very well and their output/productivity, persistence ratio, mis-sell complaints are low, fraudulent cases are low, and they are trending very well. The quality of business is quite good and they want to stay with the company for a lot longer period. So, it is a win-win situation and we thought that why we should not invest in this and create a separate business model for how we engage with the women and how do we look at them slightly differently, be more flexible so that they can work in the hours which is meaningful for them. But talent&nbsp;is very good.

Indian stock markets fell around one per cent on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, amid negative cues from global share markets. The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange closed near 56,800 points while the Nifty at National Stock Exchange settled near the 17,000 level. The Sensex lost 537.22 points, or 0.94 per cent to trade at 56,819.39 while the Nifty slipped 162.40 points, or 0.94 per cent, to trade at 17,038.40. In the sectoral indices, the Bank Nifty index fell 375.95 points, or 1.03 per cent, to 36,028.85.

Campus Activewear: The Rs 1,400 crore initial public offering IPO of Campus Activewear which opened for bidding on Tuesday was subscribed 3.21 times by day end on Wednesday. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 0.13 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) portion was subscribed 5.67 times and the Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion was subscribed 3.94 times. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 278-292 per equity share. The issue will close today, i.e., on April 28, 2022.

Rainbow Children’s Medicare IPO: CDC Group-backed Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd. was subscribed 0.29 times on the first day of bidding. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 0.1 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) portion was subscribed 0.11 times and the Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion was subscribed 0.48 times. HUL: The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company on Wednesday reported an 8.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 2,327 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 2,143 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 11% YoY to Rs 13,462 crore compared to Rs 12,132 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 9.7% YoY to Rs 3,245 crore compared to Rs 2,957 crore posted in March 2021 quarter. The Margins stood at 24.2% in Q4FY22 compared to 24.4% posted in Q4FY21. The company has said that its volume growth was flat v/s expectation of a 5 to 6% decline. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 19 per share. Management says

- It is confident of a phase-wise recovery in the margins.

- Margins will change with future price hikes.

- Significant inflation has had an impact on the volumes.

- During the quarter, their turnover grew 10% with flat Underlying Volume Growth.

- It is confident of the medium to long term prospects of the Indian FMCG.

Bajaj Auto: The Pune-based two-wheeler manufacturer has reported a 10.3% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 1,469 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 1,332 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell 7.2% to Rs 7,974.8 crore compared to Rs 8,596 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 10.4% YoY to Rs 1,365.6 crore compared to Rs 1,524 crore posted last year. The margin dropped to 17.1% in Q4FY22 compared to 17.7% posted in Q4FY22. The company has reported an exceptional gain of Rs 315 crore.

HDFC AMC: HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) on Wednesday reported an 8.7% growth in profit at Rs 343.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 316.1 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operation rose 2.7% YoY to Rs 516.3 crore compared to Rs 502.9 crore posted last year. EBITDA dropped by 0.7% YoY to Rs 393.5 crore compared to Rs 316.1 crore posted last year. The Margins declined to 76.2% in Q4FY22 against 78.8% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the Board has recommended a dividend of Rs 42 per share.

Trent: Tata Group retail firm Trent on Wednesday reported a 31.6% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 74.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 56.9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 53.2% YoY to Rs 1,185.3 crore compared to Rs 773.7 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 11.5% YoY to Rs 152.3 crore compared to Rs 136.6 crore posted last year. Margins fell to 12.9% in Q4FY22 against 17.7% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has declared a final dividend of Rs 1.1 per share.

Persistent Systems: The technology services company Persistent Services has reported a 14.2% QoQ rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 201 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 176 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2021. Revenue from operations grew 9.9% QoQ to Rs 1,638 crore compared to Rs 1,491 crore posted in the previous quarter. In dollar terms, the revenue grew 9.1% to $21.73 crore compared to Rs 19.91 crore posted in December 2021 quarter. EBIT rose by 10.8% QoQ to Rs 230 crore compared to Rs 207.5 crore posted in the previous quarter. The margin stood at 14% in Q4FY22 against 13.9% posted in Q3FY22. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 11 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2022. The attrition rate stood at 26.6% vs 26.9% (QoQ).

Indian Hotels: Tata Group hospitality firm Indian Hotels had reported a consolidated profit of Rs 74.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to a consolidated loss of Rs 91.3 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 41.8% YoY to Rs 872.1 crore compared to Rs 615 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 124% to Rs 159 crore compared to Rs 71 crore posted last year. Margins improved to 18.2% in Q4FY22 compared to 11.5% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 0.40 per share.

IEX: The Indian electronic system based power trading exchange has reported a 43.7% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 88.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 61.5 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operation grew 19.5% to Rs 112.1 crore compared to Rs 93.8 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 22.5% to Rs 94.9 crore against Rs 77.5 crore posted last year. Margins improved to 84.7% in Q4FY22 compared to 82.6% posted in Q4FY21. The company said that the share of profit of associates stood at Rs 1.44 crore and its exceptional gain stood at Rs 6 crore. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per share.

5paisa Capital: The capital market company has reported a 25.4% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 4.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 5.9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 78.3% to Rs 88.3 crore compared to Rs 49.5 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 4.8% to Rs 13.2 crore compared to Rs 12.6 crore posted last year. Margins dropped to 15% in Q4FY22 against 25.5% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has also approved the issuance of secured or unsecured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), in one or tranches on an annual basis through Private Placement basis, up to a limit of Rs 250 crores, subject to the approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (“AGM”).

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd: The petroleum refineries company has reported a 4.3 times QoQ rise in the standalone profit at Rs 994.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 228.8 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2022. revenue from operations grew 68.2% QoQ to Rs 16,713.6 crore compared to Rs 9,939.3 crore posted in the previous quarter. EBITDA grew 189.6% QoQ to Rs 1,581.1 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 546 crore posted in December 2021 quarter. Margins improved to 9.5% in Q4FY22 against 5.5% posted in Q4FY21. The average gross refining margin (GRM) for January-March 2022 period was $14.18 per barrel. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share.

Hatsun Agro Product Ltd: The company has reported a 55.9% YoY decline in net profit at Rs 25.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 57.1 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 4% YoY to Rs 1,626.3 crore compared to Rs 1,563 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 18.5% YoY to Rs 159 crore compared to Rs 195.2 crore posted last year. The margins declined 9.8% in Q4FY22 against 12.5% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd: The real estate and infrastructure development company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 137.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to a consolidated loss of Rs 27.8 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 2.9 times YoY to Rs 161.8 crore compared to Rs 56 crore posted last year. EBITDA loss stood at Rs 35.7 crore compared to an EBITDA loss of Rs 37.1 crore posted last year. The company has reported an exceptional profit of Rs 96.84 crore in the reported quarter as well a deferred tax of Rs 65.24 crore. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share.

Ambuja Cement: The billionaire investor and promoter of Avenue Supermarts, Radhakishan Damani, reportedly, has plans to join hands with potential bidders to invest in Ambuja Cements as a financial partner. BPCL + HPCL: State-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. have bagged two licenses each for retailing CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas to households in the latest bid round, regulator PNGRB said on Wednesday. They have won bids for city gas in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

PB Fintech: PB Fintech Limited had made an additional investment of Rs 450 crore in Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The company has invested Rs 700 crore in Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Private Limited to date.

The issue will close on April 28, 2022. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 278-292 per equity share. The issue is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) from the promoters and existing shareholders of the company. They will offload 4,79,50,000 shares during the OFS.&nbsp;

Rainbow Children’s Medicare IPO: CDC Group-backed Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd. that opened for bidding today was subscribed 0.17 times by 1:05 pm today. The Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) portion was subscribed 0.02 times and the Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portion was subscribed 0.34 times. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 516-542 per share. The issue will close on April 29, 2022. The IPO is expected to fetch Rs 1,595 crore for the company. Reactions to Q4FY22 RESULTS&nbsp;&nbsp;

Mahindra Logistics Ltd: Up 7.31%. The integrated logistics &amp; mobility solutions provider has reported a 2.8% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 12.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 12.58 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 10.1% YoY to Rs 1,072 crore against Rs 974 crore posted last year. EBITDA rose 19.2% YoY to Rs 54.46 crore against Rs 45.68 crore posted last year. Margins grew to 5.1% in Q4FY22 against 4.7% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

D-LINK: Up 6.61%. The network equipment company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 29% YoY to Rs 269 crore compared to Rs 209 crore posted in the March 2021 quarter. EBITDA grew 15% to Rs 15 crore from Rs 13 crore posted last year. The margin was flat at 6%. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per equity share.&nbsp;

Schaeffler India Ltd: Up 2.65%. The Ball and roller bearing manufacturer has reported a 47.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 207 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 140 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 19.1% YoY to Rs 1,568 crore compared to Rs 1,317 crore posted last year. EBITA rose 45% YoY to Rs 308.8 crore against Rs 212.9 crore. Margin improved to 19.7% in Q4FY22 against 16.2% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Bajaj Finance: Down 6.09%. NBFC Giant Bajaj Finance on Tuesday reported a 79.7% YoY rise in the consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 1,346.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s net interest income (NII) for the March 2022 quarter increased by 30% to Rs 6,068 crore compared to Rs 4,659 crore posted in the year-ago quarter. New loans booked grew by 15 per cent to 6.28 million as against 5.47 million in the same quarter last year. Gross NPA (non-performing assets) stood at 1.60% against 1.73% while the Net NPA stood at 0.68% against 0.78% as of March 31, 2021. The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 20 per share. The record date for the payment of dividends is July 1, 2022. Bajaj will infuse capital of Rs 2500 crore into Housing Finance. It will also launch Super App for full payment service on May 1, 2022, to promote digital payments with peer-to-peer and payment gateway businesses.

AU Small Finance Bank: Down 3.25%. The bank on Tuesday reported a 104.8% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 346.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 169 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. The company's net interest income (NII) for the March 2022 quarter grew 42.8% YoY to Rs 936.6 crore compared to Rs 655.8 crore posted last year. Gross NPA (non-performing assets) stood at 1.98% against 2.6% while the Net NPA stood at 0.5% against 1.3% as of March 31, 2021. Net interest margin stood at 6.3% in Q4FY22 against 5.7% in Q4FY21 and 6.3% in Q3FY22. The deposits grew 46% YoY to Rs 52,585 crore compared to Rs 35,979 crore. Disbursement is up by 39% to Rs 10,295 crore compared to Rs 7,421 crore. Gross Advances up 32% YoY to Rs 46,789 compared to Rs 35,356 crore. CASA ratio stood at 37% compared to 23% posted last year. Cost of funds reduced to 5.7% compared to 6.5% in Q4FY21. Besides, during the quarter Bank opened 39 new touchpoints taking its network spread across 919 touchpoints. In addition, the board has approved the 1:1 bonus shares as well as a dividend of Rs 1 per share, consequent to the bonus issue the dividend will be adjusted to Re 0.5 per share. It also approved an increase in authorized share capital from Rs 350 crore to Rs 1200 crore.

Nippon India AMC: Down 4.52%. The company has reported a 4.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 175 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 166.8 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 12% YoY to Rs 338 crore compared to Rs 301.9 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 25.25% YoY to Rs 207.8 crore compared to Rs 165.9 crore. Margins improved to 61.5% in Q4FY22 against 55% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.5 per share.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Macrotech Developers: Down 1.53%. The real estate company has reported a 72% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 535 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 311 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 36% YoY to Rs 3,445 crore against Rs 2,534 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 8% YoY to Rs 871 from Rs 808 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 25% in Q4FY22 against 32% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Tata Coffee Ltd: Down 2.65%. The roasted coffee company has reported a 5% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 41 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 43 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 11% YoY to Rs 656 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 591 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 17.3% YoY to Rs 111.07 crore against Rs 94.65 crore posted last year. Margin improved marginally to 16.9% in Q4FY22 against 16% posted in Q4FY21. The company in a statement said that its other Income fell from Rs 21 crore to Rs 7 crore. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share for the year ended March 31, 2022.&nbsp;

IIFL Securities Ltd: Down 8.15%. The capital market company has reported a 2.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 77 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 45.8% YoY to Rs 347 crore compared to Rs 238 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 27.6% YoY to Rs 125 crore compared to Rs 98 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 36% in Q4FY22 against 41.2% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

UTI Asset Management Company Ltd: Down 7.51%. The mutual fund company has reported a 59.4% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 134 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 4.2% YoY to Rs 301 crore compared to Rs 289 crore posted last year. EBITDA declined 35.5% YoY to Rs 105 crore against Rs 163 crore posted last year. The margin dropped to 35% in Q4FY22 against 56.2% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 21 per equity share. 
AB Sun Life AMC: Down 1.63%. The investment managing company has reported a 1% YoY increase in the consolidated profit at Rs 158.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 156.73 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 2.9% YoY to Rs 324 crore compared to Rs 315 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 2% YoY to Rs 196.38 crore posted last year. Margin declined to 60.61% in Q4FY22 against 63.81% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

NELCO: Down 3.81%. The security systems services company has reported a 43% QoQ decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 5.3 crore posted in the previous quarter. Revenue from operations fell 1% to Rs 71 crore against Rs 72 crore posted the previous quarter. EBITDA declined 7% to Rs 13 crore against Rs 14 crore posted in the previous quarter. Margin fell to 18% in Q4FY22 against 20% posted in Q3FY22.&nbsp;

Murali M, Chairman and Managing Director, Shriram Properties Ltd talks about MoU with LOGOS, execution timelines, land parcel available with the company, township project, ‘Shriram Grand City', project pipeline, input cost pressure, capital and debt situation of the company among others during an exclusive interview with Swati Khandelwal, Zee Business. Edited Excerpts:

Q: Shriram Properties Limited and LOGOS have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a potential sale of up to 90 acres of land in Kolkata, which will be developed into a Warehousing and Logistics Park by LOGOS. Please update us about the deal and will it have a revenue-sharing model?

A: This is a large township we are developing at a place called Uttarpara in Kolkata. It bought out Hindustan Motors car manufacturing unit, it is a township that is coming up. We have close to around 5,000 apartments under construction in this location, now. This project was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee four years ago. Phase-I of the apartments, 600 units getting delivered in May. The project has progressed very well. Out of the 314 acres of the township, we are developing about 45 acres of apartments, currently under construction, about 90 acres of land, we are looking at developing a warehousing and logistics park in partnership with LOGOS. As you know LOGOS is a large player in warehousing and logistics and they have chosen this place. We have chosen them to be a partner in developing this warehousing and logistics park. So, they will develop about 90 acres development and are they expected to invest around $100 million, this is an estimate given by them. So, they are going to develop this as the warehousing and logistics park in this park.

Q: How Shriram Properties will be benefitted from it and what kind of revenue sharing is about to happen in it? Also, what is the cash that you are getting from this deal and how it will be used?

A: This development will enhance the overall micro-market in this location. We have already around 5,000 units under construction now. This warehousing is another industrial activity which is coming up in this micro-market that will enhance and uplift the entire area in this micro-market. Thus, it will benefit us in price appreciation and also a faster sale of apartments in the future to come in. We have applied to develop another around 10 million square feet in this location as residential apartments. We also plan to do shopping malls, some office space, schools, and hospitals for their community. This deal with LOGOS by they doing the industrial township warehousing and logistics park, which will enhance the micro-market. And, also, this will help the local to get big environment.

Q: But how much cash are you getting from this deal?

A: This will be a development over a while in the next three to three-and-a-half-year. We expect to get more than Rs 200 crore in this transaction.

Q: Is this the cash amount or total revenue?

A: It is only the cash. The revenue that the project is likely to generate is much larger. LOGOS intends to develop close to about two-and-a-half million square spaces, which is of much higher value. As I said, it will be about Rs 1,000 crore in value and will also generate a lot of employment in the local market, which is likely to generate another 5,000 employment in the micro-market area.&nbsp;

Q: What are the timelines for the deal?

A: The development of the warehousing should kick start during this financial year, maybe, the first building could be completed in FY23 or early FY24 and that is the plan that LOGOS has got. The government has been very very extremely supportive in bringing industry and new investors into Kolkata. In fact, we approached the government about this, the government proactively took a lot of steps in making sure that this kind of development is taking place in Kolkata in our project sites. So, I would like to thank the government for its support in making sure that the investors are making good progress in it.

Q: So, can we expect that a few more such deals will be seen in the future with some other groups?

A: This is the first development in which we got into warehousing and logistics developments. LOGOS will be our long term partner and they are also looking at expansion in other cities. As you know that we have a presence in other cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, so, we may expand this partnership in other cities also in the time to come.

Q: Any timeline for it?

A: No, there is no specific timeline for it as you know that getting large land parcels is difficult but we started putting a team on getting the land now. LOGOS has been a great partner and we expect to take this relationship much deeper and stronger.

Q: Other than LOGOS, is there any other company with which talks are on?

A: On warehousing and logistics, LOGOS is the one. On the other hand, Blackstone, Hiranandani has been talking to us but currently, there is no big plan. However, we are open to large partnerships.

Q: How many land parcels the company has with it at present all across the country and how much of the same will be developed this year? Also, how much land do you have in terms of your projects coming up in the next two to three years on stream? Do you have further land parcel acquisition plans on the radar?

A: As a company, we don't own big land parcels. This is the only parcel of land that we owned other than small parcels in Chennai and Bengaluru. As a company we have focused on the asset-light model right from day one, so, we have got lots of joint developments and projects under development management and that has been our core strength. Last year, we did 4.37 million square feet pre-sales, this year we hope to do about 4.50 million+ square feet pre-sales. So, we are looking at aggressive growth and expect to grow 25% CAGR for the next three years time. We have huge plans for the next two to three years times.

Q: You have said that you are developing an integrated township project, ‘Shriram Grand City’, on 314 acres of the land parcel owned at Uttarpara in Kolkata. How much of it will be used for residential and what for commercial and what is its status at present?

A: In terms of residential, 4.50 million square feet us under construction now. We expect to do another 10 million square foot development in this location. Other than warehousing, we also have close to about a million square feet for commercial and we have someplace for schools and hospitals plus other amenities. It is a large township.

Q: Can you please let us know about the other projects that will come on stream in FY23 and the cities where more actions will be seen? Also, do the company has plans to go beyond the states where it is present at present?

A: We are not looking at pan-India. We would like to deepen our position in markets where we are already operating. We have a large presence in three cities namely Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad and we would like to deepen further and further in these markets. We expect the market to provide tremendous opportunities in the cities where we operate. Here we have a very strong pipeline for the next three years and during that time, we did not need to look for projects outside today. We have lots of projects in our portfolio. So, the current portfolio in itself can take up more than 25% CAGR growth for the next three years. Hence, we would like to focus and consolidate in the regions where we operate and we do not look at other cities at this point. We could look at Pune sometime later.

Q: Input cost pressure has increased a lot in the last some time and commodity prices like cement and steel among others, have also surged. What is your view on those prices and how will it impact your margins? Do you have any price hike plans in the recent future and have you taken any price hikes in the recent past?

A: It is a bigger problem that we have. The price increase in the last two quarters has been a major concern. I anticipate the price increase to move further up will continue to grow in FY23, which is also going to be a concern. So, we have to address how to deal with this. Because of the demand increase across the markets, we have been able to increase the prices. Last year also, we increased the prices a little bit and this year we anticipate the prices to go up by at least 10%. If not, it could also be by 15% but 10% is the rise that I anticipate and we are geared up for price increases across all of our projects.

Q: What would be the timelines for this increase?

A: Q1FY23 onwards. We have already given price increases in some of our projects as of now. In Q1FY23 and Q2FY23, we will increase the prices and that is the only way because of the demand not because of anything else. The demand has been good. The market has gone through serious consolidation and today that consolidation is something that is helping large branded developers like us. Consolidation is what is helping us.

Q: How are your working capital situation and debt situation of the company at present? The deal would have bettered the projections but what kind of prospects will you have when it comes to acquiring more land parcels and what is your focus on financials?

A: We are one of the very low debt-equity ratio companies in real estate. Our net debt is only 0.3% compared to the competition, we are the lowest in terms of debt-equity ratio. All these cash flows which are coming up in FY23 will help us to reach 0.8% from 0.3% and that is what we are looking at. In FY24, we expect to be debt-free from the current position today. Whatever, the current projects are under construction now will become debt-free unless new projects and new debts are there. Otherwise, we expect to be debt-free from the cash flows that are being generated from the projects.

Cost of funds reduced to 5.7% compared to 6.5% in Q4FY21. Besides, during the quarter Bank opened 39 new touchpoints taking its network spread across 919 touchpoints. In addition, the board has approved the 1:1 bonus shares as well as a dividend of Rs 1 per share, consequent to the bonus issue the dividend will be adjusted to Re 0.5 per share. Nippon India AMC: The company has reported a 4.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 175 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 166.8 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 12% YoY to Rs 338 crore compared to Rs 301.9 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 25.25% YoY to Rs 207.8 crore compared to Rs 165.9 crore. Margins improved to 61.5% in Q4FY22 against 55% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.5 per share.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
UBL: The company has reported a 3% YoY rise in the adjusted net profit at Rs 162 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 159 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 11% to Rs 1,707 crore against Rs 1,544 crore posted last year. EBITDA stood at Rs 260 crore against Rs 261 crore posted last year. Margin declined to 15% in Q4FY22 against 17% posted in Q4FY21. The fourth quarter witnessed 7% year-on-year growth in volume but the non-alcoholic segment degrows by 35% YoY.&nbsp;

Macrotech Developers: The real estate company has reported a 72% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 535 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 311 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 36% YoY to Rs 3,445 crore against Rs 2,534 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 8% YoY to Rs 871 from Rs 808 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 25% in Q4FY22 against 32% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Tata Coffee Ltd: The roasted coffee company has reported a 5% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 41 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 43 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 11% YoY to Rs 656 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 591 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 17.3% YoY to Rs 111.07 crore against Rs 94.65 crore posted last year. Margin improved marginally to 16.9% in Q4FY22 against 16% posted in Q4FY21. The company in a statement said that its other Income fell from Rs 21 crore to Rs 7 crore. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share for the year ended March 31, 2022.&nbsp;

IIFL Securities Ltd: The capital market company has reported a 2.6% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 77 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 45.8% YoY to Rs 347 crore compared to Rs 238 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 27.6% YoY to Rs 125 crore compared to Rs 98 crore posted last year. Margin fell to 36% in Q4FY22 against 41.2% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp; 
Mahindra Logistics Ltd: The integrated logistics &amp; mobility solutions provider has reported a 2.8% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 12.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 12.58 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 10.1% YoY to Rs 1,072 crore against Rs 974 crore posted last year. EBITDA rose 19.2% YoY to Rs 54.46 crore against Rs 45.68 crore posted last year. Margins grew to 5.1% in Q4FY22 against 4.7% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

VST Industries: The manufacturer and distributor of cigarettes have reported a 19% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 87 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 73 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 9% YoY to Rs 303 crore compared to Rs 278 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 8% YoY to Rs 106 crore compared to Rs 98 crore posted last year. The margin is flat at 35%. 
Som Distilleries: The beverages company has reported a 73% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 6.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 3.7 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 35% YoY to Rs 146 crore compared to Rs 108 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 42% to Rs 12 crore against Rs 8.3 crore posted last year. Margin stood at 8% in Q4FY22 against 7.7% posted in Q4FY21.

D-LINK: The network equipment company has reported a consolidated profit of Rs 12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 9 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 29% YoY to Rs 269 crore compared to Rs 209 crore posted in the March 2021 quarter. EBITDA grew 15% to Rs 15 crore from Rs 13 crore posted last year. The margin was flat at 6%. Besides, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per equity share.&nbsp; 
Schaeffler India Ltd: The Ball and roller bearing manufacturer has reported a 47.9% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 207 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 140 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 19.1% YoY&nbsp;to Rs 1,568 crore compared to Rs 1,317 crore posted last year. EBITA rose 45% YoY to Rs 308.8 crore against Rs 212.9 crore. Margin improved to 19.7% in Q4FY22 against 16.2% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;&nbsp;

UTI Asset Management Company Ltd: The mutual fund company has reported a 59.4% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 134 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 4.2% YoY to Rs 301 crore compared to Rs 289 crore posted last year. EBITDA declined 35.5% YoY to Rs 105 crore against Rs 163 crore posted last year. The margin dropped to 35% in Q4FY22 against 56.2% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 21 per equity share.

AB Sun Life AMC: The investment managing company has reported a 1% YoY increase in the consolidated profit at Rs 158.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 156.73 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 2.9% YoY to Rs 324 crore compared to Rs 315 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 2% YoY to Rs 196.38 crore posted last year. NELCO: The security systems services company has reported a 43% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, compared to Rs 5.3 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell 1% to Rs 71 crore against Rs 72 crore posted last year. EBITDA declined 7% to Rs 13 crore against Rs 14 crore posted last year. LIC IPO: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has set the price band for the initial public offering at Rs 902 to Rs 949, with a discount of Rs 60 for policyholders. A discount of Rs 45 will be provided to retail and employees. The much-awaited IPO of the state-run insurance behemoth is set to open between May 4 to 9, 2022. The insurance behemoth will offer 22.13 crore shares.

Tata Motors: Tata Motors has emerged as the lowest bidder in the mega tender for 5,450 electric buses floated by Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) under the remodelled FAME II scheme, the government said on Tuesday. Discovered prices of the Grand Challenge tender are between 15% and 48% lower than the price discovered by the cities and even at par or close to the operational cost of diesel vehicles, according to official releases. The ministry said that the tender contains the largest ever aggregation of electric buses - 5,450 buses across five major cities which have indicated their demand for electric buses. The participating cities are Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Surat.

Campus Activewear: The Rs 1,400 crore initial public offering IPO of Campus Activewear which opened for bidding today was subscribed 0.66 times by 1:00 pm. The Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) portion was subscribed 0.30 times while the Retail Individual Investors(RIIs) portion was subscribed 1.19 times. The issue will close on April 28, 2022. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 278-292 per equity share. The issue is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) from the promoters and existing shareholders of the company. They will offload 4,79,50,000 shares during the OFS. Besides, the footwear brand on April 25, 2022, raised Rs 418.3 crore from 32 anchor investors, ahead of its public issue opening.

Reaction to Q4FY22 Results

Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd: Down 7.81%. The company on Monday reported a 16.7% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 17.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 21 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations fell 9.6% YoY to Rs 98.5 crore against Rs 109 crore posted last year. EBITDA stood at Rs 21.8 crore, down 11.7% from last year's Rs 24.7 crore. The margin was 22.1% in Q4FY22 against 22.7% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per equity share for the financial year 2021-22.&nbsp;

Mahindra CIE: Up 14.56%. The multi-technology automotive components supplier Mahindra CIE has reported a 1,510% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 161 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 10 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 18.2% YoY to Rs 2,588 crore as compared to Rs 2,189 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 3.3% YoY to Rs 295.4 crore against Rs 286 crore posted last year. The margin fell to 11.4% in Q4FY22 against 13.1% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Tata Investment Corporation Ltd: Up 2.06%. The NBFC has reported a 970% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 214 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 20 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations jumped 388.5% to Rs 254 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 52 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 394.8% YoY to Rs 229 crore against Rs 46.28 crore posted last year. The margin grew to 90.2% in Q4FY22 against 89% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Automotive Stampings and Assemblies: Up 4.99%. The company on Monday reported a consolidated profit of Rs 60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a consolidated net loss of Rs 0.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Its revenue from operations grew 50.4% YoY to Rs 203 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 135 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 78.8% YoY to Rs 1.7 crore against Rs 8 crore posted last year. Ravi Vishwanath, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Quess Corp Ltd, talks about the ongoing business situation and his outlook for FY23, the ongoing attrition trend termed as the "The Great Resignation", utilisation of funds raised by Monster.com, fundraising requirements and job environment in the country among others during a candid chat with Swati Khandelwal, Zee Business.

Q: How the business situation and outlook is looking as we get into FY23?

A: The business outlook is extremely positive at this point. We did have some weakness in the early part of Q4FY22 but as we have moved into Q1FY23, it is looking very strong. Most sectors have come back strongly, whether it is fintech, BFSI, manufacturing, telecom and e-commerce. The only sector, which has not come back is organised retail, malls and other areas. With the opening of the economy and with booster shots etc, we expect that to start picking up. With that, more and less complete, we should look to a very very strong current year in FY23.

Q: Attrition is at the highest level in a decade across sectors, what we famously call "The Great Resignation" now. What are the common reasons for this and in which sectors are you betting in terms of growth on going ahead in FY23 for the company if you can explain this vertical wise?

A: In most of the sectors we operate, resignation is not a big problem for us. We are used to it because this is a hand we have dealt with, so, we have learnt to play this hand over the last many years. The only challenge in the IT staffing, the margins we earn are high but at the same time, every candidate is walking with around 2-3 offer letters in his pocket. That is where we are leaving behind some business on the table, not being able to fulfil our requirements. But notwithstanding that, I think, we have to grow and the growth in IT has also been quite remarkable. We have made a shift from low margin to high margin mandate in the last two years. So, that is the only area that is bothering us a little but not much and that will settle down. We are used to seeing a 4-5% attrition in general staffing all alone. So, it is not something new for us. We have been habituated to seeing this drama of resignation and we have seen a lot of this before.

Q: You have recently raised Rs 137 crore valued at $100 million via Monster.com. How will you utilise this fund and what contribution in earnings should we expect from it in the next two years from now?&nbsp;

A: A large part of the money would go to sales, marketing and product development. We have done a good job all these years and are trying to get the product back on track, where at least, we can completely turn that company around in the last two years from where it was, where we got external investors who come on the board. To show the confidence that this is a product and a company that has got a bright future as we go forward. We are also being helped by some tailwinds you know what I mean, the whole resignation and the recruitment drama we are seeing is also helping Monsters cause a lot. So, we will be spending a large part of the money on sales, marketing and product development. We do things over the next two to three years, we should be able to see fairly robust growth in the business itself. I don't want to talk a lot about what is going to be the impact of Monster for the current year as that would not be right on my part to talk right now where we are going through the silent period. But we do think that the current year there would be an impact on the overall margins of the company with Monster because a large part of the money will be spent in the current year. But by FY24, I think, the company should be able to break even and start contributing profits to us.

Q: Quess Corp has become the first company in its general staffing division to cross the 2,50,000 mark recently. How many more additions do you plan to make in FY23?

A: I don't want to talk too much about the numbers. All, I can tell you is that we are poised for some very good growth. In the last two years, we have done lots of good things. We have increased the sales team, we have improved processes, and we have increased cross-sell initiatives. We have built a lot of muscle over the last two years. All of that should start seeing good results henceforth. So, I would not like to put any number down there but you will start seeing some very healthy addition to these numbers. The market is really large. I don't think that many companies in the country can probably say that we can grow at 20% Year-on-Year for the next 15 to 20 years. We are one of those companies where we can put the stake in the ground and say we will grow at 20% for the next 20 years. That is an admissible market that exists for us. There are still lots of things that need to be done, for example, the labour reforms we are talking about for a while now. The labour reforms have not seen the light of the day yet. All these will only help our cause even more. But not with starting the labour reforms, I think, we will still continue to maintain the kind of momentum we have seen far. So, there are strong growth prospects.

Q: Are you looking to raise any capital by any instruments for any of your verticals where you can foresee growth opportunities and you may need funds for it, if yes, what would be its quantum?

A: I don't want to put a number but there are opportunities for the investors to look at. Just like, how we did something with Monster, there are other assets in our portfolio that can be monetized by us and we are contemplating some of those decisions, as we speak, maybe you will hear about it soon. But there are other portfolios, a kind of stocks or assets, that we have, which can be monetised and monetised well.

Q: There is a rise in the need to hire but the right skill set is that important. So, how big is this a challenge for the company to enhance the skillset across different verticals as it is a kind of need that is required with technological advent? Also, what kind of focus the country will have and what kind of spend will be made on it and what kind of opportunities do you foresee in it?

A: This is something that actually keeps us up because this is a problem area not just for us but for the country itself, where the productivity has been quite low. We have been trying to see how we can use our blue-grey collar hiring platforms, we have huge jobs and see how we can improve the skill sets of people at the lower levels. May at least, we can skill stamp them, trying them relevant for the jobs and so on. The government has also been doing its best but is it enough? I don't know. But definitely, this is an area that all of us in the whole country have to work towards to improve the skilling and the employability of all the future generations of our workforce. This is very important and the government has done a lot of apprenticeships etc but there is more to be done.&nbsp;

Indian stock markets on Monday, April 25, 2022, plunged more than one per cent. Domestic stock indices declined amid weak cues from global share markets. The S&amp;P BSE Sensex closed below 56,600 points while the Nifty at National Stock Exchange ended below the 17,000 level. The Sensex lost 617.26 points, or 1.08 per cent, to finish at 56,579.89. The Nifty also tumbled 218 points, or 1.27 per cent, to settle at 16,953.95. In sectoral indices, the Bank Nifty index rose 37.60 points, or 0.10 per cent, to close at 36,082.35.

Campus Activewear: The Rs 1,400 crore initial public offering IPO of Campus Activewear will open for subscription today, i.e., April 26, 2022, and close on April 28, 2022. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 278-292 per equity share. The issue is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) from the promoters and existing shareholders of the company. They will offload 4,79,50,000 shares during the OFS. Besides, the footwear brand on April 25, 2022, raised Rs 418.3 crore from 32 anchor investors, ahead of its public issue opening. Marquee investors participated in the anchor book included Abu Dhabi Investment(6.4%), Fidelity (6.4%), The Nomura (6.4%), East Spring (6.4%), Ashoka India (6.4%), HDFC trustee( 6.4%), ICICI Pru (10.1%), Nippon Life (6.4%), Societe general, Goldman, Motilal Oswal, Invesco among others.&nbsp;

LIC IPO: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Monday approved the updated DRHP (draft red herring prospectus), which lists a 3.5% stake sale instead of 5% as mentioned in the previous draft papers, for the initial public offering (IPO) of the state-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India. With this approval, the much-awaited IPO of the insurance behemoth is likely to open on May 4, 2022, and close on May 9, 2022. The government has plans to raise an amount of Rs 21,000 crore by selling around 22 crore shares, which is equivalent to a 3.5% stake. According to the sources-based information, the LIC's board is scheduled to meet on April 27, 2022. The IPO values LIC at Rs 6 lakh crore

Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd: The company on Monday reported a 16.7% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 17.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 21 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations fell 9.6% YoY to Rs 98.5 crore against Rs 109 crore posted last year. EBITDA stood at Rs 21.8 crore, down 11.7% from last year's Rs 24.7 crore. The margin was 22.1% in Q4FY22 against 22.7% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per equity share for the financial year 2021-22.&nbsp;

Maharashtra Scooters Ltd: The company on Monday reported a 42.9% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 1.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 2.8 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations fell 25% YoY to Rs 6 crore against Rs 8 crore posted last year. It reported a negative EBITDA of Rs 2.05 crore against a negative EBITDA of Rs 0.35 crore posted last year. It has posted a negative margin of 34.2% in Q4FY22 against a negative margin of 3.4% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the board of directors have recommended a dividend of Rs 80 per share for the financial year 2021-22. The record date for the purpose of determining the members eligible to receive the dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2022, has been fixed as Friday, July 1, 2022.

GMDC: The mining company on Monday reported a 4.3% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 177 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 185 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations grew 86.7% YoY to Rs 1,057 crore compared to Rs 566 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 1191.1% YoY to Rs 420 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 33 crore posted last year. Margin improved to 39.7% in Q4FY22 against 5.7% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Mahindra CIE: The multi-technology automotive components supplier Mahindra CIE has reported a 1,510% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 161 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 10 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 18.2% YoY to Rs 2,588 crore as compared to Rs 2,189 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 3.3% YoY to Rs 295.4 crore against Rs 286 crore posted last year. The margin fell to 11.4% in Q4FY22 against 13.1% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Eveready Industries India Ltd: Battery and flashlights maker Eveready Industries India Ltd on Monday reported a narrowing of its consolidated net loss to Rs 38 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a net loss of Rs 44 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue from operations declined 11.4% YoY to Rs 241 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 272 crore posted last year. It posted a negative EBITDA of Rs 36 crore against a negative EBITDA of Rs 41 crore last year. It reported a negative margin of 14.9% in Q4FY22 against a negative margin of 15.1% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Tata Investment Corporation Ltd: The NBFC has reported a 970% YoY rise in the consolidated profit at Rs 214 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against Rs 20 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations jumped 388.5% to Rs 254 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 52 crore posted last year. EBITDA grew 394.8% YoY to Rs 229 crore against Rs 46.28 crore posted last year. The margin grew to 90.2% in Q4FY22 against 89% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;

Automotive Stamping and Assemblies: The company on Monday reported a consolidated profit of Rs 60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a consolidated net loss of Rs 0.2 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Its revenue from operations grew 50.4% YoY to Rs 203 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 135 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 78.8% YoY to Rs 1.7 crore against Rs 8 crore posted last year. Margin dropped to 0.8% in Q4FY22 against 5.9% posted in Q4FY21. The company has reported an exceptional gain of Rs 62 crore in the reported quarter.&nbsp;

Defence Stocks: Defence Acquisition Procedure-2020 has been amended to promote ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbharta’ in defence. Defence Ministry said in a release that all modernisation requirements of the three Services and the Indian Coast Guard will be indigenously sourced irrespective of the nature of procurement. The requirement of the Integrity Pact Bank Guarantee has been dispensed with to reduce the financial burden on the domestic industry. Bank of India: The Board of Directors of the Bank on Monday approved the capital raising plan upto Rs 2,500 crores by the issue of fresh Equity Capital in the form of QIP / FPO / Preferential Issue. The main purpose of the capital raising plan is to increase the minimum public shareholding from the present 18.59% to 25% or above in order to comply with the minimum public shareholding requirements as per the Security Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957 and SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. With this, the government's stakes in the state-owned bank will decrease from 81.41% to 75%.&nbsp;

Varun Beverages: The Board of Directors of the company will meet Thursday, April 28, 2022, to consider the proposal for the declaration of the Bonus Issue of Equity Shares. Reactions to Q4FY22 Result

	<li>ICICI Bank: Up 1.21%. The private sector lender ICICI Bank on Saturday reported a 59.4% YoY rise in the standalone net profit at Rs 7,018.71 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. It had posted a profit of Rs 4,402.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Net interest income of the bank grew 20.8% YoY to Rs 12,604.6 crore compared to Rs 10,431.1 crore posted last year. Provisions at the bank declined 62.9% YoY to Rs 1,069 crore against Rs 2,883.5 crore while 304% QoQ from Rs 2,007.3 crore posted in the previous quarter ended December 31, 2021. The asset quality of ICICI Bank also showed an improvement with the ratio of gross non-performing assets (NPAs) falling to 3.6% from 4.96% on a year-on-year basis and 4.1% on a sequential basis. The Net NPA declined to 0.76% in Q4FY22 as against 1.14% posted in Q4FY21 and 0.85% posted in Q3FY22. On the deposit front, total deposits grew 14 YoY. The loan book grew 17% YoY. Retail loan growth stood at 20% YoY and SME Business grew 34% YoY. Net interest margin stood at 4% in Q4FY22 (All-time High) against 3.96% posted in Q3FY22. The board of directors recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share.</li>
	<li>MMTC Ltd: Down 5.68%. The company has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 210.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a loss of Rs 44.5 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations on a consolidated basis decline 65.8% to Rs 2,316.3 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 6,776 crore posted last year. EBITDA loss stood at Rs 26.1 crore in Q4FY22 against an EBITDA loss of Rs 5.78 crore posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Tata Metaliks Ltd.: Down 5.68%. The company has reported a 30% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 52.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, as against a profit of Rs 75 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The powder metallurgy part manufacturing company has reported a 23.7% YoY decline in the consolidated profit at Rs 107.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a profit of Rs 140.8 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 5.3% YoY to Rs 1,340 crore against Rs 1,273 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 19% YoY to Rs 191.7 crore against Rs 236.8 crore posted last year. Margin dropped to 14.3% in Q4FY22 against 18.6% posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Bhansali Engineering: Down 5.90%. The petrochemical company has reported a 55% YoY decline in the consolidated profit of Rs 73.27 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a profit of Rs 163.48 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations dropped 5.9% YoY to Rs 445.67 crore against Rs 473.42 crore posted last year. EBITDA fell 54% YoY to Rs 101.03 crore in the reported quarter against Rs 219.39 crore posted last year. Margin dropped to 22.67% in Q4FY22 against 46.34% posted in Q4FY21. Besides, the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per Equity Share for the financial year ended March 31, 2022. The board also approved the appointment of Mr Kiran Hiralal Bhansali as an additional director (designated as a whole-time director) of the company for a period of 5 years effective from April 23, 2022, to April 22, 2027, to hold office upto the ensuing annual general meeting. In addition, the company has increased the Overall ABS production from 65,000 TPA to 75,000 TPA without incurring any Capex, effective from April 1, 2022. The company will Enhance its overall ABS Production capacity to 2,00,000 TPA at the company's existing plants by December 2024.</li>
	<li>Tejas Networks Ltd.: Down 5%. Tejas Networks reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 49.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, against a net profit of Rs 33.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Consolidated net revenue during the quarter was Rs 126.5 crore, down 37.2% YoY from Rs 201.6 crore posted last year. It reported an EBITDA loss of Rs 88.2 crore in Q4FY22 against an EBITDA profit of Rs 30 crore posted in Q4FY21.&nbsp;</li>

	<li>Reliance Industries: Down 2.54%. Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) said the Rs 24,713-crore retail deal with Future group cannot be implemented as the secured lenders of Future Retail Ltd (FRL) voted against it.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Tata Motors: Down 2.65%. Automotive major Tata Motors announced a weighted average price increase of 1.1% across its passenger vehicle (PV) range, owing to surging input costs.</li>
	<li>Hikal Ltd: Down 5.12%. Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has directed the company to shut down its manufacturing unit located at MIDC Taloja, Dist. Raigad, within 15 days of the receipt of the said direction. The Taloja unit had contributed approx. Rs 260 crores amounting to around 15% of the turnover of the Company for the financial year 2020-21.</li>
	<li>Sarda Energy &amp; Minerals: Down 3.34%. The Board of Directors of the Company has approved a dividend of Rs 7.50 per share. It has also approved the Buy-back of upto 8,11,108 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10/- each at Rs 1,500 per Equity Share aggregating to an amount not exceeding Rs 121.67 crores.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Maithan Alloys: Down 7.75%. Due to the prevailing precarious power supply position in Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission had permitted power distribution companies to impose a 50% cut in contracted demand of power for all 24 hours on Continuous Process Industries (which includes ferroalloy manufacturing companies) from April 8 to 22, 2022, i.e. for 14 days. However, due to non-improvement in power supply position, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has extended such restriction and control measures till 30.04,2022 i.e. for further 7 days and the same may be further extended i.e. beyond 30.04.2022, after reviewing the power supply position by the said Commission in due course of time. The production capacity of the company's Vishakhapatnam unit is 120000 TPA. The expected per day of production loss of unit is equivalent to the percentage of power cut imposed on the Vishakhapatnam unit of the Company.</li>
