Sri Lanka is facing worst economic crisis. Massive protests have erupted in the country against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who resigned on July 14. For several months, its citizens Lankans are facing acute shortages of food, medicines, fuel and essential items. Schools and offices have been closed due to power cuts and disruption in supplies of other services. Emergency services are operating at critically reduced capacity.
