State-owned insurer LIC on Friday reported a 50 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 7,925 crore for the quarter ended September 30, on lower income.
Nifty at the close stood at 19,425, up 30.05 or 0.15 per cent, while the Sensex added 72.5 points or 0.11 per cent to settle at 64,904.6. Meanwhile, the broader markets ended 0.48 per cent higher.
Stocks to watch today: Indian equities ended weak in Thursday's session. The Nifty closed 0.25 per cent or 48.2 points lower at 19,395.3 points.
