Coastal districts Diu, Gir Somnath, Junagarh, Porbandar, Dwarka will be affected. Its effect will be seen in the coastal regions as there will be heavy wind speed and heavy rain as well.

The India Meteorological Department said Sunday that the heatwave will persist over north Indian plains, central and south India for two more days before abating gradually. Several places in India recorded temperatures of more than 45 degrees Celsius over the weekend. Temperatures in Rajasthan's Churu crossed 50 degrees Celsius on Sunday, making it the hottest place in the country.
