Over 67,000 seats filled in undergraduate courses in DU

More than 67,000 seats have been filled in various undergraduate courses in Delhi University, officials said on Tuesday. "A total of 67,781 students have taken admissions so far under five cut off lists. Out of these, 24,261 admissions have been done under the fifth cut off list which was announced on Saturday," a senior varsity official said.

Delhi University answer sheets of online open-book exams to be evaluated digitally by subject teachers

"For the purpose, the examiners shall be provided access to the portal individually. The examiners after evaluation shall submit their response/award on the portal itself which shall be recorded for the purpose of result compilation," said the letter by the university to the college principals.

Even an outsider can have access to phone numbers, e-mail and residential address of students, which have been mentioned on their admit cards for the first time, he said.

"For students of intermediate semester/term, grading could be composite of 50 per cent marks on the basis of the pattern of internal evaluation adopted by the university/college/faculty wherever applicable and the remaining 50 per cent marks can be awarded on the basis of performance in the previous semester/term/year," said the DU notification.
