To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers have to deposit a contribution of Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month in the pension fund.

Under this scheme, there is a provision to give Rs 3,000 per month to farmers.
Pension to wife on death of farmer
At the same time, if the beneficiary farmer dies due to any reason, there is also a provision to give Rs 1,500 per month to his wife.
Who can take advantage?
Farmers between 18 to 40 years of age can register themselves to avail the benefits of this scheme.
Big relief to small farmers
The benefit of 'PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana' (PM-KMY) is available only to those farmers who have 2 hectares or less land.
What are the required documents?
To apply, it is mandatory for the farmer to have an Aadhar card, mobile number, passport size photo, identity card, age certificate, income certificate, farm Khasra Khatauni, and the bank account passbook.
