Activate UAN Online: Documents Required
The following documents will be required at the time of UAN activation:
Aadhaar card
UAN Number (provided by the company)
PAN card
How to activate UAN through the UAN Portal?
Follow the steps mentioned below for UAN activation/registration:
Step 1: Visit website
Visit the EPFO Member Portal - unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
Step 3: Enter your UAN/member ID
Enter your UAN/member ID along with your Aadhaar number, name, DOB, mobile number, captcha code.

Step 2: Click on Activate UAN' option
Now click on the 'Activate UAN' option available under the 'Important Links' tab on the dashboard.
Step 4: Click on Get PIN
Click on the 'Get Authorization PIN'.
Step 5: PIN send to mobile no.
An authorization PIN will be sent to the mobile number registered with EPFO.
Step 6: Enter PIN
Enter this PIN and click on “Validate OTP and Activate UAN”.
Step 7: UAN activated
Your UAN will be activated and the password will be sent to your mobile number.
Login to EPF account
Now you can login to your EPF account using your UAN and password.
