Tata Motors unveils new Tata Nexon at starting price of Rs 8.09 lakh; shares up

Tata Motors Share Price: Tata Motors on Thursday announced the price of the all-new Tata Nexon. The Tata Group auto major said the new Tata Nexon, which is a facelift version of the popular Tata Nexon, will be priced from Rs 8.09 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh. 

Tata Motors shares stayed in the green for most of the session on Thursday but slipped 0.26 at Rs 624.35 towards the end of the day, after rising as much as 0.8 per cent to Rs 630.8 apiece earlier in the day. 

The company is also expected to announce the price of an electric version of the model, the new Tata Nexon EV.

Tata Nexon Facelift

Tata Nexon facelift 2023 comes in 11 variants: Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Pure, Pure S, Smart, Smart+ and Smart+ S, Fearless, Fearless S, Fearless+ S.

The price of the Tata Nexon facelift model will be announced on Thursday, but it is estimated that it would be anywhere from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh depending on the model.

Tata Nexon has been one of the top-selling SUVs in India for the last two fiscals.

The car is expected to compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Kia Sonet.

Tata Nexon competes in the highly competitive sub-4 metre compact SUV segment.

The company said that it would make some significant changes and enhancements to the new Tata Nexon model.
