Market Outlook | Domestic markets could open mildly higher, says  Deepak Jasani 

"Indian markets could open mildly higher, in line with mostly higher Asian markets today and positive US markets on April 29, says Deepak Jasani, Head of Retail Research, HDFC Securities.

"Nifty was up 1 per cent or 223.5 points at 22643.4. Bank Nifty made a record high while Nifty is about 120 points short so far. Nifty formed a long bull candle on April 29 negating the previous bearish pattern of dark cloud cover formed on Friday. The short-term uptrend of Nifty seems to have resumed after one day of weakness. The next upside levels to be watched are around 22,726-22,775 band for the near term. Immediate support is at 22,447," he adds.

Results on April 30: Cholamandalam Investment and Finance, Exide Industries, Indus Towers, Indian Oil Corporation, Havells India, REC, and IndiaMart Intermesh will announce their Q4 results.

Coromandel International: The company will set up its Rs 1,000 crore plus Phosphoric Acid & Sulphuric Acid Plants at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

Trent: For the March quarter, the company reported a net profit of Rs 919.03 crore against Rs 63.77 crore in the year-ago period.

Wipro: The company announced the launch of its own Think Tank to help enterprise leaders and Wipro customers prepare for a future with emerging technologies.

Birlasoft:The IT company posted in-line result, with profit increasing 11.8 per cent. Nomura on Birlasoft maintained a buy call with the target slashed to Rs 860. Read more
