LTIMindtree shares decline over two per cent to the day's low of Rs 4,611.7 on NSE after major brokerages trimmed target price following the country's fifth largest IT company by market value's Q4 earnings report that missed Street's estimates.

On Wednesday, LTIMindtree, the country's fifth largest IT company by market value, posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,099.9 crore for the January-March period, down 5.9 per cent on a quarter-on-quarter basis and falling short of analysts' expectations. Its fourth-quarter revenue declined 1.4 per cent sequentially to Rs 8,892.9 crore, according to a regulatory filing. Read more

Share Market Today LIVE | Kotak Bank shares hit all-time low after RBI ban; Jefferies trims target price

Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank tank as much as 13 per cent to hit an all-time low of Rs 1,602 on the NSE, after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) last evening announced certain business restrictions on the private sector lender. 

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has barred Kotak Mahindra Bank from onboarding new customers through its online and mobile banking channels and issuing fresh credit cards immediately after the regulator found "serious deficiencies" in the lender's IT risk management.

Share Market Today LIVE | Vodafone Idea FPO shares debut on bourses; Kumar Mangalam Birla says it is the beginning of Voda-Idea 2.0

Kumar Mangalam Birla, the chairman of Aditya Birla Group, said on Thursday, April 25, that a strong response to Vodafone Idea's Rs 18,000 crore follow-on public offer (FPO), India's biggest so far, has paved the way for Voda-Idea 2.0. The FPO shares got listed today.

Birla, in his address, thanked the government for supporting the share sale. The FPO, which ran between April 18 and April 22, was subscribed nearly seven times. Both domestic and foreign investors participated in the FPO. Birla added that Voda Idea is not only a company but India's asset too. Results on April 25: Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, L&T Technology Services, Mphasis, ACC, Laurus Labs , Coromandel International and Vedanta will announce their Q4 numbers on Thursday.

HUL: Hindustan Unilever registered a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 2,561 crore against Rs 2,601, down 1.5 per cent year-on-year (YOY). Its revenue from operations stood at Rs 15,013 crore against Rs 14,926 crore YoY. 

Axis Bank: The public sector lender's net profit for the January to March quarter stood at Rs 7,130 crore against a loss of Rs 5,728.4 crore.  

LTIMindtree: LTIMindtree, the country's fifth-largest IT company by market value, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,099.9 crore for the January-March period, down 5.9 per cent on a quarter-on-quarter basis and falling short of analysts' expectations. 

Tata Motors: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo for the delivery of 2,000 XPRES-T Electric Vehicles.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday barred Kotak Mahindra Bank from issuing new credit cards. The apex bank has also directed the private lender to stop adding new customers via online mode.

Indian Hotels: The company posted mixed Q4 results with revenues for Q4 inching higher by 17.2 per cent and profit climbing 27 per cent on year. Read more
