The Swiss National Bank has announced a reduction in its main interest rate by 25 basis points to 1.50 per cent, a surprise that has left the European markets surprised.

Share Market Today LIVE | Jana SFB jumps over 2.5% after lender receives partial relief from NFAC in tax-related case

Jana Small Finance Bank jumps 2.51 per cent to the day's high of Rs 392.1 on BSE after the company received partial relief from National Faceless Assessment Centre in an income tax-related matter.

What did NFAC said in its order?

NFAC had passed an order on March 31, 2022, disallowing certain expenditure incurred by the Bank. Vide the said order NFAC had raised a demand of Rs 76.23 crores (including interest of INR 18.91 crore) without giving credit to the taxes paid/tax credit available to the company. Read more 

Dividend, Stock Split Stock | Bharat Dynamics board meets today to consider payout, share split

Bharat Dynamics shares surged on Thursday as investors awaited the outcome of a meeting of the defense equipment maker's board scheduled to take place during the course of the day to consider dividend- and share split-related proposals. The stock rose by as much as Rs 65, or 4.0 per cent, to Rs 1684.8 apiece on BSE. 

The company's board will decide on the payment of interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24 and sub-division of its equity shares. Read more

Krystal Integrated Services IPO Listing | Shares list at 11.2% premium over issue price - Buy, sell or hold?

Shares of Krystal Integrated Services list at Rs 795 on the BSE, a premium of 11.2 per cent to the issue price of Rs 715. In addition, the shares debut at Rs 785 on the NSE, a premium of 9.8 per cent.

Earlier, Krystal Integrated Services got subscribed 13.21 times on the last day of bidding on Monday. Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi advised only high-risk investors to subscribe to the IPO. Read more 

Share Market Today LIVE | RVNL soars over 4% after receiving Rs 167.28 cr order from South Eastern Railway 

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) shares soar by over four per cent on BSE after the Railways company was declared an L1 bidder for a project of SER HQ-Electrical/South Eastern Railway. The RVNL stock is trading higher by 2.86 per cent, or Rs 6.85, at Rs 246.05 on BSE.

What is RVNL order?

In a statement on Thursday, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited said that it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from SER HQ-Electrical/South Eastern Railway for “design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning for upgradation of Electric traction system from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system for Rajkharsawan -Nayagarh- Bolani section of Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target”. Shares of Avenue Supermarts- owning and operating D-Mart rose sharply in trade after global brokerage Avenue Supermarts initiated a buy call on the stock with a target of Rs 5107 per share, implying an upside potential of 26 per cent. Shares of the company trade 4.21 per cent or Rs 170.5 higher at Rs 4,225 on BSE

The brokerage believes the rise in product-label products should drive the next leg of share gains. It sees DMart stores increasing over 3x by FY34 and also its expansion in present as well as new states. Read more

Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi sees strong support emerging at 21,700-21,800 for the headline Nifty50 index on Thursday, March 21. For the Nifty Bank, he expects support to come in at 46,050-46,250 and a strong buy zone at 45,675-45,825 levels.

TVS Motor: The company's board approved the scheme of arrangement between TVS Motor and its shareholders for the issuance of cumulative non-convertible redeemable preference shares amounting to around Rs 1,900 crore.

Wockhardt: Zee Business exclusive news has been confirmed. The company's QIP has opened with a floor price pegged at Rs 544 per equity share. 

Torrent Power: The company has entered into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100 per cent share capital of the SPV. The deal aims to establish a Transmission System for the Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Solapur (1500 MW) SEZ in Maharashtra.

Wipro: The company appointed Anne-Marie Rowland for the role of Capco’s Chief Executive Officer.

Ashok Leyland: The company's board will consider an interim dividend in a meeting held on Monday, March 25, 2024. 

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC: The company's OFS did not receive good response from the retail investor class. Including the green-shoe option, the retail portion has been subscribed just 5.39 per cent. In total, the OFS has been subscribed 1.2 times. Read more
