Both headline indices finish the day with minor losses as gains in financial stocks were outweighed by losses in IT and FMCG counters. The Sensex loses 47.8 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 65,970 and the Nifty50 settles at 19,794.7, down 7.3 points from its previous close.

Lupin shares rise after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved two products of the Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company. The Lupin stock strengthens by as much as Rs 42.2, or 3.5 per cent, to touch Rs 1,238.5 apiece on the upside on BSE, coming within inches of a 52-week high scaled this week.
The pharma stock helds on to much of its intraday gains with decent volumes, and is one of the main contributors to strength in the Nifty Pharma index. Read more

Shares of Axis Bank trade 0.8 per cent higher at Rs 1,007.05 on NSE after the lender's Analysts Meet on November 23. The lender, in its Analysts Meet, said the investments in long-term distinctiveness have started yielding visible results. Further, it added that the inherent strength is giving the bank the right to win in RuSu markets or rural and semi-urban markets through the Bharat Banking platform.
Global Brokerages' views on Axis Bank
CLSA is bullish on the counter and has maintained its buy call on the stock with a target price of Rs 1,200. The brokerage stated that the lender's GPS (growth, profitability, and sustainability) strategy is on track. Bharat banking is a key growth lever; deposits are a focus area too, it said. The brokerage is bullish on the lender's digital offerings, including continued investments in technology and analytics. Read more

Shares of Zomato, the food-delivery services platform, gain as much as 2.7 per cent to touch the day's high of Rs 116 apiece on NSE after Morgan Stanley maintained an 'Overweight' stance with a target price of Rs 140 on the counter.
Further, an AlphaWise survey conducted by global brokerage Morgan Stanley on the start-up with regard to its quick delivery highlights that its TAM, or total addressable market, has been cutting across multiple categories. Lupin: The company received the U.S. Food and Drugs Administration's (USFDA) approval for bromfenac ophthalmic solution used in the treatment of postoperative inflammation. It also got tentative approval for its Canagliflozin tablets.
Karnataka Bank and Bajaj Finserv: The private sector lender has announced a strategic corporate tie-up with Bajaj Finserv's subsidiary- Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance. As per the filing, the collaboration is designed to distribute life insurance products. State-owned CIL, which has imported high-capacity mining equipment worth Rs 3,500 crore in the past five years, has drawn up a plan to phase out such inbound shipments over the next six years.
InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo): IndiGo expects delivery of A321 XLR planes in late 2024 or early 2025.
LTIMindtree: The company launched and tested its Quantum-Safe VPN link in London in collaboration with Quantum Xchange & Fortinet. Read more
