Oil rises; markets weigh Red Sea attacks, US rate cuts

Brent crude futures rose 12 cents, or 0.15 per cent, to $82.46 a barrel by 0100 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures (WTI) were up 9 cents, or 0.12 per cent at $77.13.
