Shares of Kajaria Ceramics rose as much as 1.34 per cent or Rs 16.7 to hit a high of Rs 1,262.9 apiece on the BSE in the early trade on May 23, Tuesday. The stock had hit a 52-week high and low of Rs 1,279.95 and 898, respectively on September 21, 2022 and June 24, 2022.
Below is a list of key reasons why the brokerage has recommended buying shares of the company-
Strong growth: The brokerage notes that KJC has delivered stronger growth than its competitors and continued to gain market share in a fragmented industry. The company reported a 14.4 per cent revenue CAGR over FY10-22 against 7.5 per cent for the other listed players. Kajaria Ceramics' revenue share within the organised listed players increased to 34 per cent in FY22 (36 per cent in 9MFY23) from 10 per cent in FY20. Its sales volume clocked an 11 per cent CAGR over FY10-23, which helped to improve its industry volume share. Read more
