Aditya L1: India's maiden mission to unravel Sun's mysteries

India's first space-based mission to study the Sun, Aditya L1, is scheduled to be launched soon. The spacecraft will be placed in a halo orbit around the Sun-Earth L1 Lagrange point, which is a point in space where the gravitational forces of the Sun and Earth balance each other out.
