Select commodity prices move up
Prices of urad dal, gram dal and maida moved up while prices of rest of the commodities ruled steady during the week that ended here today.
Urad dal and gram dal prices increased by Rs 100 and Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 8,600 and Rs 8,000 on the opening day from its previous rate of Rs 8,500 and Rs 7,800 and finished the week at the same rate respectively.
In addition, on Monday, maida (90 kg) rose by Rs 200 to Rs 2,700 from its last week's closing rate of Rs 2,500 and ended today at the same rate of Rs 2,700.
Thoor dal (Rs 7,800), moong dal (Rs 7,500), sugar (Rs 4,080), Wheat (Rs 2,700) and Sooji (90 kg) (Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
