PIB Fact Check, known for countering misinformation on Govt. policies/schemes, on Twitter has busted a fake message.
According to PIB Fact Check's tweet, "A text message with a website link is circulating with a claim that the Government of India is offering free laptops for all students.

Earlier, PIB Fact Check on its official Twitter handle had alerted everyone about an email scam.
The scam happens via an e-mail allegedly sent by RBI. The fraud email claims to offer Rs 4 crores 62 lakhs on payment of Rs 12,500.
PIB Fact Check on its official Twitter handle has said that this e-mail is fake.
"RBI does not send emails asking for personal information," PIB Fact Check tweeted.
