Apple Inc on Wednesday posted a strong growth in its third quarter as it posted a revenue of $45.4 billion in comparison to a revenue of $42.4 billion in the same quarter last year. This is a 7% year-on-year growth during the quarter.

Apple also said that it has crossed a milestone as Apple iPhone sales crossed 1.2 billion during the quarter.
