Volkswagen on Wednesday announced the launch of compact SUV Volkswagen Tiguan. The car is based on the much awaited premium carline, based on the modern MQB platform and priced at Rs 27.68 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). It will be available across all Volkswagen showrooms for test drives and bookings.

Tiguan delivers a peak power of 143 PS (105 kW) and 340 Nm of torque ranging from 1750-2750 rpm. The car has a fuel efficiency of 17.06 km per litre which is ARAI tested, the company said.

The Tiguan will be available across all Volkswagen dealerships in India, in two trims Comfortline and Highline. Some of the colour variants of the Volkswagen Tiguan will be available in Tungsten Silver, Oryx White, Deep Black, Indium Grey and Atlantic Blue.
