Skoda India rolls out 100,000th RAPID; milestone vehicle is Monte Carlo - How it was made? WATCH
It's a big feather in the cap of automotive giant Skoda in India. According to the latest development, the Czech car maker on Tuesday rolled out the 100,000th unit of its mid-sized sedan Rapid. The milestone vehicle, a SKODA RAPID Monte Carlo, was produced at the Volkswagen Group production facility in Chakan, Pune. Skoda Rapid was first time introduced here in 2011 followed by a refreshed version in 2016.
Commenting on the celebration of the new milestone in the Skoda’s history, Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service and Marketing, SKODA AUTO India said, "The RAPID continues to offer a compelling combination of the brand’s emotive design, exquisite interiors, leading safety as well as intelligent connectivity features.
