GAP Associates Secured First RERA Approved Industrial Park Inside The Activation Zone Of Dholera-SIR

New Delhi: GAP Associates, a leading real estate company, recently acquired the first RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) approval for building an industrial park inside the L&T-built 72 km road perimeter in Dholera SIR’s Activation Zone.

Dholera SIR has four-way connectivity, 100% renewable energy-based grid, and town planning by Helcro Solar is comparable to Dubai and Singapore. Dholera is set to become India's first greenfield smart city, and we are committed to supporting the wide-scale eco-friendly industrialization and residential plans.

It is noteworthy that Dholera SIR is designed to house 8 lakh skilled labourers and a population of 20 lakh intellectuals which will also include students, as the region also aims to build world-class educational institutes within its premises.

Gopal Goswami, Director at GAP Associates, finds that “The Government is investing significantly in developing Dholera SIR as a model greenfield smart city that won’t require any changes for the next 50 years. As real estate developers, this is a huge challenge since diverse industrial sectors, including defence, aeronautical, and electronics, will be developed with complete solid and liquid waste handling and water filtration capabilities.

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal recently reviewed the progress made by NIDC (National Industrial Development Corporation of India.) He urged the authorities to speed up the development process, giving a major push to Dholera SIR alongside other projects.

Apart from the schemes focused solely on Dholera SIR, the smart city is also set to benefit from pan-Indian policies like Startup India, Atma Nirbhar Bharat, and Make In India.

"This would give the required empatus to the SME industries to start manufacturing units inside the SIR now. As the government is allocating the land parcels to anchor industries as of now. Dholera-SIR is located 72 km South-West of Ahmedabad and is currently in its final stages of completion.
