Fall in prices of select commodities
Prices of urad dal,sugar and sooji (90 kg) decreased and price of wheat increased while prices of rest of the commodites remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Urad dal was down by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.6,800 from yesterday's Rs.6,900.
Sugar was marginally less by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.3,600 from Rs.3,650.
Sooji(90 kg) decreased by Rs.200 to Rs.3,000 from Rs.3,200.
Wheat was up by Rs.100 per quintal to
Rs.2,700 from Rs.2,600.
Thoor dal, moong dal,gram dal and maida (90 kg) prices remained unchanged.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,200, Urad Dal Rs 6,800, Moong Dal Rs 7,300, Gram Dal Rs 5,500, Sugar Rs 3,600, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
