Defence ministry comes forward to set up incubator in Hyd

The Defence ministry has come forward to set up a 'Defence Incubator' for startupsin the city.

According to an official release, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has conveyed the ministrys decision for setting up the incubator under 'Innovations for Defence Excellence ( iDeX).'

State minister for IT and Industries, K T Rama Rao had earlier written to Sitharaman seeking her intervention for setting up the Incubator as the city hosts many defence and aerospace facilities.
