Chilli and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid poor export offtake.
Chilli and turmeric prices drifted lower by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 5,400-11,600 and Rs 8,300-11,400 per quintal, respectively.
Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers as well as exporters against increased arrivals from producing regions, mainly pulled down chilli and turmeric prices.
