Xiaomi on Wednesday launched its flagship smartphone the Mi 6 in China. The smartphone will be available from April 28 in China on Mi.com for purchase through online merchants.

Some of the specifications that Xiaomi's Mi 6 has includes dual rear cameras and a 6GB RAM. The Mi 6 has a 5.15 inch full HD display. Mi 6 also comes with dual speakers, which gives you a more immersive experience when watching videos.

The company also announced that it will come out with a Mi 6 Ceramic version which has a four-sided curved ceramic casing, has wear and tear resistant up to 8 Mohs of hardness and 18-karat gold camera rims.

While the Mi 6 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory is priced at CNY 2,499 (around Rs 23,500), the 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory is priced at CNY 2,899 (around Rs 27,000) and the 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory Ceramic variant is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs 28,000).

The Mi 6 comes in three variants ie one with a 64GB internal storage, one with a 128 GB storage and the 128GB storage Ceramic variant.

The Mi 6 will replace the Mi 5 and is said to come with much better upgrades. While the processor is much faster, it has a dual-edge curved display.

In terms of its camera it has dual 12 megapixel rear cameras one with wide-angle lens and the other with a telephoto lens. It has also 4K video recording. The front camera is a 8 megapixel which is also capable of recording 4K videos. It will also run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

The Mi 6 comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 technology that supports fast charging capabilities. The Mi 6 will also come with a 3350mAh battery. It also comes with a MIUI optimisations which enables the battery to last up to a full day in one charge.
