Reliance Jio has got into colleboration with Indian mobile wallet major MobiKwik to sell JioPhone through the latter's app.

Speaking on the association, Bikram Bir Singh, Business Head at MobiKwik said, “We are proud to become the first mobile wallet to sell Jio phones in India. Users can book their phone in four easy steps and avail great benefits as well.”

On successful payment, users will get a confirmation SMS from Jio with transaction details and another SMS with store details from where they can collect JioPhone after identity verification.

Recently, Reliance Jio introduced new tariffs for JioPhone users with offers like 1GB data with free calls at Rs 49.

Jio is now likely to launch a cheap Android GO operating system based 4G smartphone in partnership with MediaTek.
