Commerce Minister Piyush Goyals Visit Seals India-US Tech Startup Deal

Growing India-US commercial cooperation and business engagement has been evident during Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s official US visit. As a major development, India and the US signed an MoU to connect startups working in critical and emerging tech. The understanding has been named 'Enhancing Innovation Ecosystems through an Innovation Handshake'. During his visit, Piyush Goyal also held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart and thanked her for ensuring “truly historic” moment towards resilient future. In addition, with an aim to bolster trade ties, India also joined the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) trade deal. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal inked the deal and stated that it would “fortify and strengthen” global supply chain.
