Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 Date: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the board results for Class 10th on Wednesday at 1 pm. The students can check their results on mahresult.nic.in and msbshse.ac.in.

The Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 was slated for declaration in this week. Earlier the Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had indicated about the declaration date of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) to be around last week of July. 

An estimated 17 lakh students have appeared for Maharashtra 10th Board Examination 2020 and are eagerly waiting for the results. The Maharashtra Board had on 16 June declared the board exam results for Class 12th. 

After the declaration, the Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 can be seen online on the official websites mahresult.nic.in and msbshse.ac.in. 

The Maharashtra Board class 10th exams started on 3 March. On account of the nationwide lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, the exam for Geography which was scheduled on 23 March could not happen. Later, the board had to cancel the exam considering the risks. The state board had indicated that it will give marks according to average of marks obtained by the students in other subjects. 

The board examination carries over all 600 marks, out of which 480 marks are for written examination while the remaining 120 marks will be awarded on the basis of internal assessment. The state board has clearly said that the students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation. They can apply for this from 30 July.  

Maharashtra SSC Result 2019: 

In the MSBSHSE 10th Board Results 2019, around 77.10 per cent cleared the examinations. The girl performed better than the boys in the exams. The pass percentage for girls stood at 82.82 per cent while the pass percentage for boys was around 72.18 per cent.

In another news, the Rajasthan state board today announced Class 10th board examination results. The results were announced by the Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra at 4 pm. Students can check the results at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in.
