Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurrana has continued to mint money at the box office. Even after having big-budget films like Kabir Singh and Super 30 at the theatres, Article 15 witnessed substantial growth in week 3 collection. The movie stands with a total collection of Rs 55.83 crore at the box office.

Article 15 had a decent opening at the box office with Rs 5.02 crore collection. The movie added Rs 1.25 crore to its collection on Friday(Week 3) and Rs 2.15 crore on Saturday. 

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Article15 jumps again... Inches closer to ₹ 60 cr... [Week 3] Fri 1.25 cr, Sat 2.15 cr. Total: ₹ 55.83 cr. India biz."

Article15 is based on the socio-political situation of India, where the lives of police officers are followed. In a country where discrimination is reported everywhere, whether related to race or caste, the officers embark on a journey of acceptance and change. 

Article 15 released on June 28 tries to highlight caste discrimination through a mix of various incidents. The film is based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution.
