Royal Enfield sales saw its sales rise by a robust 18% in the month of October. The two-wheeler company, under Eicher Motors, sold 69,492 units on October 2017 in comparison to 59,127 units in October 2016.

Royal Enfield's models with engine capacity up to 350cc saw a large 18% growth in October as it sold 65,209 units in October 2017 from 55,188 units sold in October last year. The motorcycles with engine capacity above 350cc saw a 9% growth during the month as it sold 4,283 units in October 2017 from 3,939 units in the same month last year.

Royal Enfield's exports during the month grew by nearly double that of the sales in the same month last year.

The company's exports grew by 98% in October 2017. It exported 1,478 units in October 2017 in comparison with 748 units in the same month last year.

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, on Sunday reported a 22% rise in sales at 70,431 units in September.
