Dev Diwali 2022 Varanasi Images, Dev Deepawali: Dev Deepawali is celebrated every year on the full moon night of the Hindu calander month of Kartik. The day is celebrated by Hindus by lighting lamps to commemorate Lord Shiva's victory over the 'asuras'. Lakhs of earthen lamps lit up the banks of the river Ganga in Varanasi on Monday as people celebrated the festival. Also, people across different states celebrated the festival with zeal and enthusiasm.
