ISRO recruitment 2019: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has sought application from interested candidates for the recruitment of Engineer or Scientist posts at its official website-isro.gov.in. The advertisement for the said post was issued on December 26, 2018, and last date to submit application is January 15, 2019.

The advertisement for the said post was issued on December 26, 2018, and last date to submit application is January 15, 2019. Candidates should first visit the official website to know the details related to eligibility and other aspects prior to submit their application. ISRO has invited applications for a total of 18 vacant posts.
ISRO Recruitment 2019: Vacancy details:
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil): 9 Posts (6-UR, 1-SC, 1-ST, 1-OBC)
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): 5 Posts (2-UR, 1-SC, 1-ST, 1-OBC)
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning): 2 Posts (1-UR, 1-SC)
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture): 1 Post (1-OBC)
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): 1 Post (1-UR)
According to the notification, candidates should follow the steps given below to submit their application.
1. Candidates should first visit the ISO website– www.isro.gov.in
2. They should click at the careers page to find the advertisement
3. They should click the advertisement page and on the desired post name
4. They should fill up their application with relevant details & also submit scanned copies of their passport
5. Now they will get a registration number which they should keep for future reference
Eligibility criteria: Candidates have a BE/ B.Tech in the concerned subject, besides having an aggregate 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Candidates who completed their academic course in 2018-2019 can also apply, however, their final degree should be declared by August-2019.
Candidates applying for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture) need to provide the registration certificate issued by the Council of Architecture.
Selection procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test.
Notably, those who are already working for any state or central government undertaking, or for an autonomous body, will be required to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ to ISRO.
