CBSE Board Exam 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education aka CBSE has opened a correction window for the CBSE Board Exam 2020 List of Candidates.
CBSE Board Exam 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education aka CBSE has opened a correction window for the CBSE Board Exam 2020 List of Candidates (LoC). The CBSE has issued a notice to the affiliated schools allowing for one option for all schools to update its LoCs and change the options already filled. In case parents or students now wish to update their selection may do so. All CBSE affiliated schools have been informed to make any correction that they might want to in the online list of candidates submitted to the board. The CBSE Boars has also shared a list of changes that are permitted. Among them is the permission to change the level of Mathematics chosen by students for the CBSE 10th Board Exam 2020.
According to the CBSE Board 2020 Exam notice, all those aspirants who want to shift from Mathematics Basic to Mathematics Standard or vice versa may opt to do that in this CBSE's correction window. Failing to do so, no further request for the same is going to be entertained by the CBSE. The correction window facility of the CBSE will be available till 11th November 2019.

Therefore, all parents and students are hence informed to use this one-time facility in case they wish to make any changes. The correction window is also open for class 12 students. A list of changes or corrections allowed are listed below for quick reference. All CBSE affiliated schools have been directed to make the necessary corrections within the given deadline of November 11th. All parents and students are hence advised to get the requisite changes made, in case they wish to change the choice of subject in the LOC or list submitted to CBSE.
Here are the permitted list of corrections in CBSE Board 2020 Exam:
1] Class 10 – correction in choice of Mathematics Standard (041 subject code) and Mathematics Basic (241 subject code);
2] Class 10 – correction in choice of Hindi A (002), Hindi B (085) as well as Urdu A(003) and Urdu B (303);
3] Class 12 – Hindi Core (302), Hindi Elective (002), English Core (301), English Elective (001), Sanskrit Core (322), Sanskrit Elective (022), Urdu Core (303), Urdu Elective (003), etc. can be made; and
4] Class 10 & 12 – correction in the name of candidates permitted – please note, complete name change as well as the change in father’s name, date of birth, etc. are not permitted. Only corrections in the spellings would be permitted for the candidates.
The affiliated CBSE schools and aspirants for CBSE Board Exam 2020 must remember that the details available in the LOC would be used for all future documents released by the CBSE, including the CBSE admit cards/ hall tickets to mark sheets and result declaration.
