Box office tsunami delayed? Salman Khan's Inshallah release postponed! Actor says will still see you on Eid 2020
There is no doubt that Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are two powerhouses in the Hindi film industry. While the actor has emerged as the biggest hero of the masses, churning out blockbusters one after the other, the director too has his dedicated fan base helping him deliver super hits. So, when the two united for Inshallah, earlier set for Eid 2020 release, a box office tsunami was on the cards.
The success of the film was so obvious that Rohit Shetty shifted the release of his next Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
However, the same has been delayed with Salman Khan confirming that Inshallah will not release on Eid 2020 now. However, what comes as a relief for the actor's fans is that he would still meet them but through some other film. "Salman Khan makes big announcements... #Inshallah - the film that reunites Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali - *won't* arrive on #Eid2020. Salman will retain #Eid2020 release week. Will bring another film instead," film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!

The actor has not revealed which film of his will come out on Eid. Given that he is only working on Dabangg 3, it could be moved to Eid 2020. But, there is no official word on that. The other possibility is that the actor might play cameo is some other film releasing on Eid next year.
"But I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!" he reassured his fans.
This is the first collaboration between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in two decades. Their last release together was the 1999 hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Salman did appear in Bhansali's Saawariya but it was only a cameo. Salman tweeted in March this year, "It's been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey."

He was set to pair with Alia Bhatt for the first time as well. "Dream with your eyes wide open, they say, and I did. Sanjay sir and Salman Khan are magical together and I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called 'Inshallah," the actress had tweeted earlier to confirm her presence in the film.
"When she was nine, Alia went with her mother Soni Razdan to audition for Black (the role eventually went to Ayesha Kapur). "I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait," Alia revealed in another tweet.
